Next up this Wednesday is attorney and former House of Delegates member Brad Marrs, who joins John for a conversation about last week's civil judgment against President Trump, as well as a discussion about the restoration of ex-convicts' rights.
Well -- a light day for interviews (numbers-wise) on Richmond's Morning News! (We'll make up for that the next couple of days -- trust me.) To start with this morning, John welcomes back to the show former Richmond GOP Chairman and candidate for State Senate Hayden Fisher -- who calls in to offer a response to Mayor Stoney's final "State of the City" address from last night.
For the latest installment of "Giving Tuesday," John welcomes Barry McDonald to the show. Barry talks about an organization entitled RampsRVA -- and its work in and around the Richmond area.
(You can learn more about the group here.)
For the bottom of the 8 o'clock hour, John welcomes longtime friend from "across the pond" Huw Shakeshaft back to the show, to talk about the 2024 Presidential Campaign, as well as the fallout from the Middle East drone strike over the weekend that resulted in three American military casualties.
Atop the 8 o'clock hour this AM, John welcomes New Tolerance Campaign President Greg Angelo back to the show, for a conversation about the perils of the Left's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion ("DEI") initiative.
Next up this morning is current State Senator Glen Sturtevant, who joins John for a discussion about the ongoing General Assembly session, as well as support in Virginia for Texas Governor Greg Abbott and his fight to secure the U.S. southern border.
To start with this Tuesday morning, John welcomes former State Senator Amanda Chase to the show; she and John have a conversation about some of more controversial measures before the General Assembly this 2024 Session.
Finally this Monday morning, we hear from friend of the show Jim Bacon, who calls in for his weekly segment so as to talk to John about familiar topics (e.g., DEI, Confederate/Reconstruction-era monuments).
Atop the 8 o'clock hour this AM, John welcomes back DecideSmart's Dr. Bob Holsworth, who forecasts (1) what Governor Youngkin will do in the waning years of his gubernatorial term (and beyond) and (2) how Donald Trump will perform this year in Virginia.
At the bottom of the 7 o'clock hour this Monday morning, John checks in with Richmond Times-Dispatch reporter Eric Kolenich, who has been following the story about VCU's recent failed development project, resulting in a nearly nine-figure financial loss.
