"Heeeeere's Johnny!" At last, John is back! Joining him for his first interview of 2024 is none other than one of the guest hosts who held the fort while he was gone: Karen Michael! John and Karen catch up on everything that they've missed catching up on while he was on his epic trip to Asia.
Finally this week: As suggested by Jerry Goldsmith's sensational (and woefully underused) Fanfare for Oscar, our movie critic Mike Mayo joins Gary for a 2023 Year-in-Review discussion, as awards season gets underway.
"Are you ready for some football?!" It's 8:30AM on Friday morning, so you know what that means: "Picking & Grinning" time! Former Virginia Governor and U.S. Senator George Allen joins Gary, "Dan the Producer," and -- of course -- John's coin, to pick games on the first weekend of the NFL playoffs!
Atop the 8 o'clock hour this Friday, Gary talks to Dave Saunders, of Madison + Main PR firm, about what folks can do in and around Richmond this weekend.
Joining Gary at the bottom of the 7 o'clock hour is Mark Tapscott, the Senior Congressional Correspondent for The Epoch Times. Mark and Gary chat about the latest budget battle between Freedom Caucus Republicans and the House Speaker.
Next to join Gary this AM is Virginia Citizens Defense League President Philip Van Cleave -- who talks about "Lobby Day" this coming Monday at the General Assembly, where 2A advocates will aim to thwart efforts to curb constitutionally acknowledged gun rights.

Back again with Gary early this morning is ABC Correspondent Jordana Miller, live from Jerusalem; as is customary, Jordana gives Gary an update on war in Israel/conflict in the Middle East.
Former Virginia Governor and European Ambassador Jim Gilmore calls in to the show at 8:30 this Thursday morning, for his usual weekly segment. Governor Gilmore and Gary talk about everything from the 2024 General Assembly session to the 2024 Presidential Campaign and war in Ukraine.
On the ground in Iowa ahead of that state's caucus on Monday, Nathan Worcester, National Politics Reporter for The Epoch Times, joins Gary atop the 8 o'clock hour -- to reflect on last night's DeSantis/Haley debate and Trump Town Hall, respectively, as well as the candidates' prospects for next week.
Next up this morning is former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell, who talks to Gary about the 2024 General Assembly session -- and the prospect of compromise between Democrats and the Governor Youngkin-led Republicans.
