In 2011, drum major Robert Champion was living his dream as one of the premier members of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University's "Marching 100." But when he realized he could no longer avoid an initiation ritual without losing the respect and command of his position, he decided to participate in "Crossing Bus-C." The decision would end his life, and uncover a culture of violence that had permeated the elite marching band for decades
