It's a SPECIAL BONUS EPISODE as Baxie talks with drummer Richie Onori and keyboardist Stevie Stewart from Sweet! Sweet’s history is a long and complicated one. On one hand it’s a band that sold more than 35 million albums with classic hits like Ballroom Blitz, Fox on the Run, and Love is Like Oxygen. Since then, three of the original members formed their own separate versions of the band—often operating at the same time. In 2008 original bass player Steve Priest formed his own versions of the band. Sadly in 2020, Steve Priest died at the age of 72. However, both Steve Priest and his family bestowed the responsibility of curating the Sweet’s legacy to Richie Onori and Stevie Stewart. They not only continued as Sweet they’ve also recorded new material. It’s an incredibly interesting story. One that offers a new take on what it means to keep a rich musical heritage intact.
