Alexis is another instagram friend that I'm bringing on to the podcast because we've built a friendship that I want to share with my listeners. She's a women's rights activist and uses art as self-care when she needs to release her inner child. She walks us through other forms of self-care for her that she turns to as a "solo" mom of 2 (she's married to the most wonderful husband who coaches college football) and as she's navigating politicial seasons. We're also diving into:

Let's stay in touch babes:
This is such a fun and unique episode. I'm sitting down with Phoebe who is a plant educator, herbalist, and just overall woo woo babe which y'all know I LOVE. She is the co-founder of Fungtion, a functional mushroom wellness brand. Fungtion exists to create subtle transformations in people's lives through functional ingredients derived from earth.
For a funny rabbit hole because Grace has been on the podcast a few times now, Phoebe is Fungtion's co-founder alongside George who is Grace's best friend's cousin.
This episode is fun because I am coming out of the psychedilics closet and we are talking all about shroomies. We're diving into functional and medicinal mushrooms and then we answer some of my listener's questions about the ~fun mushroom.
I took away so much from this conversation about listening to your body and allowing nature to heal you from the inside out.

Grace needs NO introduction as I welcome her back to the podcast. This is a continuation of a conversation we had 3 years ago about consistency as our superpower. In today's episode we are catching all the way up and we're getting a very vulnerable and soft Grace. Her life looks nothing like it did the last time she was on the podcast and she's sharing her journey through the fire and how she's picked up the pieces of what tried to break her.
The hardest truth from our convo: no one is going to save you, no one can do the work for you, the only way out is through.
Let's get in. to. it.

Let's stay in touch babes:It's been a little too long since I caught you guys up on life and lessons its teaching me. In today's episode we're diving right in and chatting about the following topics:
Season 3 is winding down, but I knew I could not close out this season without sitting down with my boo, Ciji. I call her the queen of balance + pivots and you'll see why on this podcast episode. I love Ciji because she keeps it real. Her life is her content and as she's navigating being a mom of 2, solo-parenting while her husband has business travel, or picking up Chick-fil-A dinner for the second (or third) time this week, she's bringing her Balanced Not Busy community along with her. In today's episode we are diving into:

In today's episode I'm discussing what it looks like to step out your comfort zone and into your purpose, what to expect every step of the way, and how we can only grow when we push ourselves.
As y'all know, we have the most amazing guests and I'm lucky to call most of them close friends so I get to experience the behind the scenes of some of these conversations. I'm also walking you guys through a few episodes that I've recorded in the past where my friends stepped out of their comfort zone and into their purpose. 10/10 recommend you go back and listen to these episodes:
And. So. Many. More. I got some brave ass friends. Love that for me.
I can't explain it, but this is my favorite solo episode I've recorded to date. Cheers!!!
Let's stay in touch babes:Spoiler Alert: The secret to staying motivated is that there is no secret. I am just as unmotivated as the next girl on most days, the difference is that over the years I have been consistently developing the muscle of discipline. See, motivation gets you started, but it's discipline that keeps you going. Here's what we are diving into in today's episode:
For all the girlies (+ guys, gays, and theys) that want to eat healthier but don't know where to start, this episode with Valerie Agyeman, RD is SO good. Valerie is a women's health dietician and nutrition media expert who believes her God-given purpose is to help women build healthy habits for long-term, better health.
As someone who has always had an ~interesting relationship with food and my body, I found this conversation really healing and freeing. We chat about body positivity vs body neutrality (I learned something new!!!), wellness trends and fad diets that we wish would go away, holistic nutrition, and more.
Here's how you can keep the conversation going with Valerie:
I'm so excited to be sitting down with Priscilla on the podcast today!!! Priscilla Agyeman, MPH is the creator and founder of Saddie Baddies - a virtual sanctuary for Black and multiracial people to destigmatize mental health and initiate collective healing. She is the queen of soft living and shares what choosing softness and ease looks like on her podcast - The Soft Life.
In today's conversation, Priscilla and I waste no time as we dive into this healing conversation. Some of the topics we dive into include:
As if that's not enough, Priscilla also drops her Korean skincare routine, how she keeps her negative self talk in check and we end the episode with some kind words for our inner child. Cheers!!!
