RSK XFM Remastered

PART 1 of a 2-part BEST OF compilation of one of Karl Pilkington's most beloved features, MONKEY NEWS. Monkeys are near and dear to Karl's simian heart. He spent much of his time during the XFM years sitting at home, looking up spurious monkey facts on the Internet. He would then share this unreliable monkey-related drivel with his two best friends, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, who, over time, became increasingly irate at Karl's evermore outlandish monkey musings. This BEST OF compilation is based on the comprehensive 4-part MONKEY NEWS compilation released previously on this channel.

Compilation of all of Karl Pilkington's short-lived, but truly astounding feature: Cheeky Freak of the Week. An off-the-wall segment in which Karl introduces his dearest friends, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, to a random "freak" person with some sort of deformity or abnormality. He never meant to be insensitive or have a go at these people. Instead, he was just utterly fascinated with any kind of oddity or strangeness. Karl's mission is for people to put themselves into a little weird fella's shoes, and ponder what being viewed by society as a freak would be like. Mad, innit?

BEST OF Compilation of Karl Pilkington's SONGS OF PHRASE feature, for which Karl combines pieces of songs to re-enact "popular" sayings from the show. Originally, Karl called the feature, CROSSWORDS, because he got words and sort of crossed 'em and that... The name changed to SONGS OF PHRASE in response to a fan's suggestion. Listeners try to guess all of the songs that the well-known phrase is composed of.

PART 2 of a 2-part BEST OF compilation of Karl Pilkington's ROCKBUSTERS (a cheap knockoff of Blockbusters) from the Xfm Ricky Gervais Show with Stephen Merchant. Not only was this one of Karl's longest running features (along with Monkey News), but it was also voted by fans as his greatest XFM feature of all time.

Karl Pilkington gives a cryptic clue (it's usually nonsense) and the initials of a famous band or artist (he sometimes gets the initials wrong), and listeners either call, or as the feature developed (unless they were experiencing technical difficulties), email in their answers. The winner gets an arbitrary assortment of tat, often including a pointless DVD seemingly chosen at random from the bargain bucket.

This 2-part BEST OF ROCKBUSTERS Compilation is based on the comprehensive 6-part ROCKBUSTERS compilation of every Rockbuster segment from the Xfm Ricky Gervais Show (released previously).
