The rumor mill continues to turn as we get closer to the offseason. The Orlando Magic have been involved in plenty of rumors including one big one. The Darius Garland trade rumors were put to rest with Jake Fischer reporting that the Magic and Cavs have not had any substantive discussions.

The point of the rumor though was to go through the thought exercise of what it would take to make such trades. And to make the point the Magic can make that move or any move this offseason.

A lot of doors are open for the Magic this offseason indeed.

Just like the door to an All-Star berth in a new format will surely be open for Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner. Both have the inside track to make the All-Star Game next season.
