Seattle Seahawks star quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara teamed up with a local food bank Tuesday in order to help struggling families during the coronavirus outbreak.
Wilson and Ciara partnered with Feeding America to donate one million meals to needy Seattle families as the COVID-19 virus spreads across the country.
"This coronavirus is changing the world minute by minute, second by second," Wilson said. "People are losing loved ones -- the elderly and the young and people in between. People are losing jobs. What we've decided to do is partner up with our local food bank in Seattle."
Feeding America distributes 4.3 billion meals each year through food pantries and meal programs throughout the United States, leading the nation to engage in the fight against hunger. You can go to feedingamerica.org to help out.
