Hannah Gutierrez-Reed is charged with involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence in the accidental shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on October 21, 2022 while on set of the Alec Baldwin film, Rust.
Baldwin is also charged with involuntary manslaughter in the case but they are being tried separately.
This episode covers opening statements by the prosecution and the defense. Tomorrow we will finish day one and catch up on Sunday with a day 2 deep dive - 8 hours of testimony in an hour or less.
