Detective Mike Proctor (Ret.), is considered a pioneer in the investigation of stalking.

As a member of the Westminster Police Department located in Orange County, California, Detective Proctor (Ret.) began investigating stalking crimes in 1991 eventually developing a stalking protocol that's now utilized in both the United States and abroad. 

He was awarded "Detective of the Year" three times and has appeared on A&E, BBC America, America's Most Wanted, CNN, and Fox News.

Detective Proctor (Ret.) is now a professional consultant, lecturer, and author of two books designed to help victims of stalking, stalking advocates, and law enforcement in dealing with stalking cases.
