Biddy is a comedian who was stalked by an obsessed student from her improv school. After seeing Biddy perform a live comedy show, a clubgoer became convinced that they were destined to be together through "signals" she was sending him. When he enrolled in the same school she attended he was expelled after he showed up to class on drugs. Then he began showing up to her shows drunk and caused a scene by insulting the other performers. After being banned from the venues, he tried to break into the theater during Biddy's performances, told the technicians that he was her boyfriend, then blamed the comedy club staff for keeping them apart. Once her stalker was arrested, Biddy found out that he already had a police record for luring a girl into his apartment. She went to court and her stalker's lawyer, victim shamed her, called her a "slut" and claimed she was "faking" the stalking charge to get publicity for her acting career.
