**The following episode of Strictly Stalking contains graphic depictions of sexual assault. Listener discretion is advised.** Emily was stalked by her famous ex-girlfriend. At a friend's suggestion, Emily agreed to a blind date with a popular local entertainer who traveled the country. The relationship escalated quickly and before long, the woman who would become Emily's stalker showed up to Emily's home with alcohol and became physically and sexually aggressive. When Emily told her they should take some space, the woman began love bombing her to win her back before her behavior once again turned dangerous. She became verbally abusive, physically violent to herself, and threatened to murder Emily's friends and family. Once Emily tried to end things for good she received death threats, threats of suicide, and calls 24 hours a day from different phone numbers, along with thousands of abusive and threatening texts and over 30 police visits all within a year. The police went to Emily's stalker's home to let her know that she should not contact Emily again...but just as she thought her nightmare was over, Emily woke up early one morning to find her stalker in her bed. Emily eventually obtained a restraining order and then discovered saved emails her stalker had sent to former victims revealing threats almost identical to threats she had made against her.
