I've been talking a lot about toxic relationships lately and wether or not you should cut ties with the ones that don't serve you. Friends and family alike. In this episode I sit down to talk with my mother, whom I had previously taken a step back from for almost two years. Its safe to say you learn more about me and my past in this episode than you ever have in the twenty years I've been sharing stories on the air. I'm proud of both myself, and my mom for being able to be so open, respectful and raw. It's possible to mend fences and extend olive branches and come out on the other end better people for it. We are are still a work in progress but as always, progress over perfection.
