//BLUF: UNREST CONTINUES THROUGHOUT ENGLAND. KURSK OFFENSIVE CONTINUES. SMALL ARMS SKIRMISHES REPORTED AT TEXAS MILITARY BASE.//
-----BEGIN TEARLINE-----
-International Events-
United Kingdom: Violent attacks continue as before. In Manchester, three people were stabbed Sunday night. One woman was killed in the attack, and two others wounded with life-threatening injuries. An unidentified male was arrested in conjunction with the attacks.
In Kent, a man (who has been identified as Ernestas Juska) fatally stabbed a woman Saturday night. Authorities have also charged the assailant with committing crimes (which are too graphic to describe) against the victim after her murder.
In Bristol, a man was stabbed in Victoria Park over the weekend, resulting in the arrest of two unidentified men.
Throughout England, authorities continue to prioritize the policing of speech crimes among the indigenous English population. So far, over 1,100 arrests have been made, most of which appear to involve alleged speech crimes. In response to this increase in detainees, the British Ministry of Justice has activated Operation EARLY DAWN, a plan to allow British police to detain captives in temporary holding cells for longer periods of time than normally allowed by law, until space in a prison is made available. This operation also authorizes cutting most currently incarcerated prisoners’ sentences by up to 50%, to free up space for those convicted of speech crimes. Local media reports that up to 5,500 convicts currently serving their sentences are expected to be released over the next month under this program.
Russia: The Kursk offensive continues to remain kinetic. Ukrainian forces have gained some ground over the past week, though the front line remains fluid. On the western axis of advance, Ukrainian forces took the town of Visnevka over the weekend. Ukrainian forces have also prioritized targeting the bridges over the Seym River, greatly impacting the Russian freedom of maneuver throughout the area.
-HomeFront-
Texas: Saturday morning, multiple small arms attacks were reported at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. The first pre-dawn engagement took place at approximately 0215S via a drive-by shooting targeting the Entry Control Point (ECP) at the Chapman Training Annex. A few hours later, at approximately 0430S another vehicle approached the same gate, engaging security personnel with small arms fire. During the second skirmish USAF Security Forces reacted to contact, engaging with small arms, before the attackers broke contact and egressed from the area. No arrests have been made regarding either engagement. No casualties were reported on either side.
-----END TEARLINE-----
Analyst Comments: Many details regarding the JBSA-Lackland attack remain unknown. It is not clear as to if two separate vehicles were involved, or how many militants were in each of the vehicles. It’s also not clear as to if this is a reflection of routine crime resulting in protracted small arms engagements with security forces, or if this was a higher-level terrorist attack. Of note, following this first shooting the security posture of the installation was raised, and additional Security Forces deployed to the installation ECPs. This did not deter the second, more protracted assault indicating that if this was a terror incident (and not a local gang shooting), it probably wasn’t an instance of Recon by Fire, but rather a more deliberate assault. Of note, the Chapman Annex gate is located across the street from an Elementary School.
In Ukraine, though somewhat obvious to most parties at this juncture, the American involvement in the Kursk Offensive is palpable. Ukrainian forces, after years of warfare, suddenly did not become experts in combined arms and maneuver warfare without substantial help, nor did Ukrainian forces suddenly become ex

//BLUF: VIOLENCE CONTINUES IN IRELAND. GAZA PEACE TALKS BEGIN. QUESTIONS MOUNT REGARDING DETAILS OF TRUMP ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT.//
-----BEGIN TEARLINE-----
-International Events-
Ireland: Violence continues as a Priest was stabbed in a suspected terror attack yesterday evening. Fr. Paul Murphy was stabbed multiple times by an assailant at the Renmore Barracks in Galway, where he was conducting his duties as an Army Chaplain. He remains hospitalized with wounds not expected to be life threatening. Sentries at the barracks detained the attacker after the incident. AC: Local media reports that Fr. Murphy was wearing civilian attire at the time of the incident, possibly indicating this was a more targeted attack (though this remains speculative at this time).
Throughout Ireland protests and demonstrations have remained regular and have become more organized. Thousands have protested in Dublin over the past few days, and demonstrations at the construction site of a migrant center in Coolock have increased in size as well.
Middle East: Various diplomatic envoys state that yesterday’s first round of Gaza peace talks concluded on a positive note. A joint American-Egyptian-Qatari statement on the peace talks indicated that “the road is paved” towards a ceasefire solution.
-HomeFront-
Pennsylvania: As the Congressional investigation into the attempted assassination of Donald Trump continues, many exceptionally suspicious details have come to light. Recently, Rep. Clay Higgins (a member of the Congressional Task Force to investigate the incident) released a preliminary report highlighting many discrepancies, including that the body of the alleged shooter, Mathew Crooks, is no longer available for examination due to being released by the FBI for cremation 10 days after the shooting.
-----END TEARLINE-----
Analyst Comments: In the wake of the Trump assassination attempt (a mere 34 days ago), the details that have been released (or discovered) have increasingly pointed to nefarious intent by federal agencies, to some degree. At some point, the thousands of hours of content from experts on the matter must reach a consensus. For many, there is already enough evidence in the public sphere to indicate how much of this nearly-successful attack was the result of incompetence, and how much was deliberate negligence. What will be important to consider moving forward, is how serious American politics have become. Last week, Trump’s plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Montana due to a mechanical issue. This afternoon, JD Vance’s aircraft also made an emergency landing due to a door seal malfunction. Earlier this week, an incident involving Trump’s Secret Service detail became public, in which a USSS agent not only abandoned her post at one of Trump’s events minutes before his arrival, but also secretly allowed unauthorized persons into the heart of the secure area, even in the wake of the assassination attempt.
In any other time, these data points would be easily chalked up to random problems, errors, or general complacency. However, considering the context of recent events it would be wise to account for other more nefarious possibilities. With events of this magnitude, and a machine with as many pieces, it is very unlikely for any one theory or idea to explain everything. Making decisions (and assessing risk) without all of the information is a reflection of the human condition itself; humans almost always have to make judgement calls without knowing the full story.

//BLUF: CRACKDOWNS CONTINUE IN U.K. AMID GROWING DISSENT. CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES IN IRELAND TO BUILD MIGRANT CENTERS DESPITE OPPOSITION FROM CITIZENS.//
-----BEGIN TEARLINE-----
-International Events-
Europe: Throughout the continent, the migrant crisis continues. In Ireland, local authorities have cracked down on demonstrations seeking to halt the construction of migrant centers at several locations throughout the country, to include very large migrant centers currently being constructed in Dublin. In England, demonstrations continue to flare up in response to the sentencing of those who voiced dissent towards immigration policy on social media. Several people have been sentenced to months/years behind bars for one comment on social media, which has resulted in even more backlash against British authorities.
Middle East: Heightened tensions continue throughout the region as before. Israeli political leadership continues holding meetings in hardened bunkers, and American forces throughout the region remain at increased levels of readiness. Iran has not given any clear indication as to when (or if) a response will take place.
-HomeFront-
USA: Indicators are mounting suggesting that a potential strike involving major seaports could come to fruition next month. Currently, the International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) is in the process of contract negotiations which may result in labor strikes at almost all major seaports in the U.S. beginning October 1. AC: If an agreement cannot be reached and a nationwide labor strike comes about, this likely will have wide-ranging impacts to the cargo handling at most seaports, and result in widespread backlogs and shipping delays.
-----END TEARLINE-----
Analyst Comments: Much of the tensions in the Middle East are probably riding on the latest round of peace talks with regards to the conflict in Gaza. If the talks are successful in reaching some sort of an agreement, an Iranian counterattack might not arrive. However, if the talks fail again, Iranian leadership may have more incentive to strike Israel (either by proxy or more directly). The US State Department and the National Security Council have been warning of an “imminent” attack for almost two weeks now, despite little evidence being publicly released on the matter.

//BLUF: DATA BREACH IMPACTS MOST AMERICAN’S SOCIAL SECURITY DATA. WATER SUPPLY FOR GERMAN AIR BASE SABOTAGED. IRANIAN NATIONAL BANK VICTIM OF CYBERATTACK//
-----BEGIN TEARLINE-----
-International Events-
Germany: This morning two military bases were locked down in response to a possible sabotage of the water supply. Early this morning, abnormal readings (of an undisclosed nature) were discovered in the tap water supply serving the Cologne-Wahn barracks, which houses the aircrew and personnel required for the military aircraft that transport high-level German military leadership, to include Chancellor Scholz. A search of the base perimeter revealed a hole cut in the wire, but no trespassers were found. Soldiers are urged to not drink or use the tap water at this facility until further notice.
A few hours later, a similar incident occurred at the nearby Geilenkirchen NATO Air Base, though a German military spokesman stated that the water supply at this base has been tested and is normal.
Middle East: Iranian officials have reported a large cyberattack that has affected the Central Bank of Iran. No further details have been released indicating the severity or the impact of the attack.
Switzerland: The World Health Organization has again declared a global health emergency with regards to Monkeypox (now officially named “Mpox” for political correctness). Most of the recent cases appear to be confined to sub-Saharan Africa.
-HomeFront-
USA: Details of a major cyberattack involving potentially most U.S. citizens have come to light following the publishing of recent court documents. This data breach reportedly involved the leaking of every single American citizen’s Social Security number from National Public Data, a company that processes/conducts background checks. This encompasses roughly 2.9 billion citizens, going back roughly 30 years.
-----END TEARLINE-----
Analyst Comments: Though details are sketchy at best, it’s possible that this little-known company was accessing this data illegally, and in turn got hacked themselves. This entire scandal kicked off due to many Americans receiving notification that their data had been posted on various darkweb sites. This is because one of the members of the hacking group (a group that goes by the name USDoD) posted the bulk of this breached data for free on the internet, triggering the notifications that led to the revelation of the breach. Consequently, National Public Data is being sued in a Florida court for “scraping non-public sources” of information regarding background investigations, as well as not notifying citizens regarding this cyberattack. Since none of the people who had their data leaked were customers, a catch-22 situation has emerged whereby the company didn’t want to reveal that a person’s data was leaked, because it would raise questions as to why this company had that illegally-obtained data in the first place, and would reveal that that person was under investigation.
In Germany, issues with a potentially tainted water supply are challenging to attribute to malign activity, unless very obvious indicators are present. In many cases, what is portrayed as a “poisoned water supply” is often an error in water treatment procedures. In a time of heightened vigilance, an innocent mistake (or even negligence) can result in an incident being blown out of proportion. However, in Germany, the indicators present to authorities (and thus conveyed to the public) have resulted in this case being treated as an instance of deliberate sabotage.

//BLUF: ISRAELI NATIONAL SECURITY MINISTER RAIDS AL-AQSA MOSQUE. UNREST CONTINUES IN U.K. AS PROTESTERS BECOME MORE ORGANIZED.//
-----BEGIN TEARLINE-----
-International Events-
United Kingdom: General unrest continues as violence cools down in some areas, but intensifies in others. Most demonstrators appear to be reaching a point of regularity, with dozens of different groups protesting for varying causes. Most of the more serious outrage appears to directed towards British political leadership and authorities that continue to persecute those exercising speech.
Belgium: The European Union has backtracked on the threatening letter sent to Elon Musk, stating that the letter was sent without authorization and that Thierry Breton (the EU Commissioner who authored the letter) acted alone.
Middle East: This morning, Israeli National Security Minister Ben Gvir personally conducted an unauthorized raid to al Aqsa Mosque, leading a few thousand Israeli settlers to the highly-controversial zone. Israeli settlers raised the Israeli flag inside the courtyard compound, and conducted religious ceremonies. During the operation, Israeli forces reportedly prevented Palestinians from entering the Mosque compound.
-----END TEARLINE-----
Analyst Comments: This was not merely a casual visit to the Mosque; thousands of police and military forces surrounded the area to provide security for this operation. As such, this extremely serious provocation breaks decades of protocol and delicately established diplomatic doctrine at a time when the slightest escalation is exceptionally dangerous to the stability of the region.

//BLUF: KURSK OFFENSIVE CONTINUES. UNREST IN U.K. REMAINS CONSTANT. WESTERN POWERS CONTINUE TO ESCALATE TENSIONS IN MIDDLE EAST.//
-----BEGIN TEARLINE-----
-International Events-
Eastern Europe: A fire broke out at Zaporizhzhia NPP in central Ukraine over the weekend, prompting much confusion about the incident. Russian forces claim the fire was the result of Ukrainian shelling, whereas Ukrainians claim that Russian soldiers set fire to a pile of rubber tires underneath one of the cooling towers. AC: Neither side has provided evidence of their claims, though the fire has since been extinguished. Personnel at the IAEA did note that they received a report of a drone attack on the facility, but that “no impact has been reported for nuclear safety”.
In Russia, the Kursk offensive continues as before, with neither Ukraine nor Russia providing much concrete data with which to determine front line positions. AC: While the current front line remains debatable, what is far more clear is that Ukrainian units (of debatable size, composition, and combat power) almost certainly have more freedom of maneuver within Russia’s rear areas than Russian forces would like to admit. Conversely, the forces dedicated to such a large offensive results in questions related to the other fronts, which have largely been locked in stalemate for many months.
Western Europe: The European Union has written a public letter to Elon Musk, personally threatening him and his company (Twitter/X) with legal consequences for any offensive content that might arise from Donald Trump during his upcoming interview on the platform.
United Kingdom: Unrest and violence continues as before. Yesterday, a stabbing attack occurred in Leicester Square wounding a woman and an 11-year-old girl. The assailant was detained at the scene. Police have not released any images of the attacker.
Middle East: Preparations for a widening war continue to be made by all parties, despite widening (and contradictory) assessments regarding Iran’s potential counterattack. Hezbollah conducted a few rocket attacks over the weekend, continuing the trend of harassing fires.
-HomeFront-
Washington D.C. - Pentagon statements over the weekend confirmed an increased level of forces within the Middle East. SECDEF Austin has ordered the USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN CSG to make all sail for the CENTCOM AOR, making haste for the transit to the eastern Mediterranean Sea. The Pentagon has also ordered the USS GEORGIA (SSGN 729) to the region. These forces compliment the USS WASP ARG (currently in port Cyprus).
-----END TEARLINE-----
Analyst Comments: Though an interview with a politician is something that ordinarily would be squarely within the political realm, an exceptionally large international organization such as the EU becoming involved in a minor interview highlights the priorities that some European nations place on censorship and limiting access to information.
In Russia, much confusion and contradiction remains in Kursk. As the Ukrainian advance largely was conducted with light reconnaissance units in lightly-armored vehicles, Ukrainian forces have been spotted deep in Russian territory (possibly as far north as Semenovka). However, the real concentration of Ukrainian forces is largely still located within a few kilometers of the border. This is a major factor contributing to contradictory reports: Certain Ukrainian units can claim that they are in a certain location, but due to only being a light recon force, they have no ability to hold that position. Conversely, Russian forces can ignore recon elements in their press briefings (or even more deceptively, label larger armored columns as “recon” units), so as to downplay the threat. Though there is some strategic value in choosing to focus on the main axis of advance instead of highlightin

Switching gears this weekend, I wanted to spend some time talking about some more controversial details that hopefully will be a bit more helpful in understanding what events will transpire in Europe and the Middle East. I myself have few answers to current events, but some things are a little bit more likely. Since the media is covering both continents wildly inaccurately (moreso than normal) I thought it might be handy to expand on what I think is going on.

//BLUF: UKRAINIAN KURSK OFFENSIVE CONTINUES. ARRESTS CONTINUE IN U.K. FOR SPEECH CRIMES. TENSIONS REMAIN HIGH IN MIDDLE EAST.//
-----BEGIN TEARLINE-----
-International Events-
Eastern Europe: The Ukrainian Kursk offensive continues amid Russian forces pouring into the region. Much confusion abounds as Ukraine seeks to cause as much damage as possible before Russian forces push them back via the inevitable counteroffensive. So far the Russian response has been limited throughout the region, however fierce fighting has been observed as the front becomes more established along the salient.
United Kingdom: British authorities have instituted an internet blackout of some police websites. The main Police.uk website now blocks all American IP addresses. AC: This is probably due to Americans (or British citizens using an American VPN) spamming their informant hotlines with fake reports.
Throughout England, Muslim Defense League (MDL) attacks continue, along with other factional violence. Yesterday a police officer was stabbed during a traffic stop in Gateshead.
Around the nation arrests continue to draw the ire of the native Anglo population as judges crack down on offensive speech with an exceptionally heavy hand. British authorities continue to double-down on threatening to extradite and prosecute those outside the U.K. for offensive speech online.
Middle East: Despite the lack of any substantial public information, preparations continue throughout the region concerning a widening war. As the delay in Iran’s response goes on, the theories widen regarding what might actually happen. Some say Iran will essentially do nothing but conduct a minor strike somewhere random, while others are convinced the delay is due to Iran preparing for an even larger counterattack than last time. Though very little information in the public space indicates what Iran will do, clearly governments with access to better intelligence are expending significant resources to prepare for such an attack. Throughout Israel, bomb shelters have been opened, and politicians have moved critical meetings to underground bunkers. The USS WASP ARG has arrived in port Limmasol, Cyprus as even more US Navy assets stage throughout the region.
-----END TEARLINE-----
Analyst Comments: It’s possible that all of this, both Iran’s response and the preparation for it, are a “made-for-TV” information operation. This is a complicating factor on it’s own, but another variable is worth considering as well. Israel’s military goal in conducting these specific airstrikes targeting key leaders was to provoke an Iranian response. The longer Iran waits to retaliate, the higher the chance is of Netanyahu losing patience and launching a pre-emptive strike. Consequently, it’s worth considering the possibility that the ball might not solely be in Iran’s court. At this point, Israel (and probably the United States) may be committed to a response, even if Iran doesn’t do anything substantial in retaliation. This could explain both the rhetoric and rumor that Iran probably won’t do anything major, but on the Israeli/American side, preparations continue.
Another factor to consider is the impact of internal politics within Iran. This morning Western media sources claimed that while the Ayatollah and various military leadership are very much in favor of directly targeting Israel, the newly elected President is not so, and more concerned with de-escalation. As a reminder, President Pezeshkian is only in office right now because his predecessor was killed in a helicopter crash under very suspicious circumstances a few months ago. Though the position of President in Iranian politics is largely symbolic, it is the tiniest bit suspicious that the one guy who was put into some level of power due to the suspicious death of his predecessor is somehow the same guy who

Eastern Europe: The Ukrainian incursion into Russia continues as combat remains intense in the Kursk region. So far, the salient has widened a few kilometers along the border. Some reports indicate Russian authorities urging a total evacuation of the Kursk Oblast, but at this time it’s not possible to verify. Local evacuations of civilians in the vicinity of the salient are occurring, but how widespread these efforts are is unknown.
AC: Propaganda efforts by all sides make verification of details challenging, but speaking more broadly, fighting undoubtedly continues in the region. Russia waited to long to respond, and are now paying the price. The echoes of classic Russian warfare doctrine can be felt in this lethargic response, contributing to the embarrassment: waiting for adversaries to stretch themselves thin along a deep advance into enemy terrain (before ultimately encircling them and reducing the pocket) may not have been the best plan for this situation considering the close proximity of Kursk to the border. This Ukrainian escapade will undoubtedly come to an end in Russia’s favor, but the costs of doing so have already been more than Russia is willing to admit.
Far East: Geological activity has been observed in southern Japan, with several 7.0+ magnitude earthquakes noted over the past 24 hours. Japan also issued their first-ever “megaquake” warning for the region. So far, damage reports have been minimal, and the tsunami risk is assessed to be negligible as well.
United Kingdom: General unrest continues amid a lull in rioting in some areas. Anti-immigration demonstrations have given way in some areas to extremely large counterprotests in support of immigration. Varying factions throughout the U.K. have also increased activity, as organizational efforts continue on all sides. The Muslim Defense League (a loosely organized conglomeration of Muslim activists) has begun armed patrols of territory they influence, resulting in random attacks. This comes amid reports that British authorities have begun to arrest citizens, not just for allegedly “hateful” content shared online, but for sharing allegedly inaccurate information. Recent statements by authorities indicate this targeting has expanded to include those outside the United Kingdom, possibly to include non-British citizens.
On the other side of the wire, British citizens pursuing anti-immigration measures have conducted deception operations to confuse and confound British authorities. Fake “far-right” demonstrations have been announced, drawing a large police and Muslim Defense League presence to show up for an event that did not occur, causing a waste of resources on both sides. Citizens (as well as those abroad who are supporting anti-immigration measures) have also spammed the government informant hotlines with fake messages, causing even more strain on police resources who are motivated (and probably required) to respond to every complaint of “far-right” activity. Though challenging to verify, some users on social media report seeing the work of the ULEZ Blade Runners to target facial recognition cameras throughout varying locations.
Middle East: Patience remains tested as the world awaits whatever escalation is to come in the region. Some sources (probably originating from the White House) claim that the massive attack that is expected will not come, as Iran has decided to de-escalate the situation from their end.
AC: Though this is extremely unconfirmed rumor at this time (and would be a fantastic opportunity for Iran to regain the element of surprise), this is a factor to consider nonetheless. What is undeniable is that Iran has waited long enough to e
