Jez and Matt saw in the New Year in style, by reviewing the results of a busy RFU disciplinary panel which scrubbed Ben Earl's red card and saw a high-profile punishment handed out to Joe Marler.

A nod is given to those receiving New Year's Honours, but most importantly to Tony Rowe (up to you to decide what CBE actually stands for) who saw his Exeter Chiefs team pummelled by a Saracens team righting some wrongs of the week before and led by an inspired Owen Farrell.
