In this episode, we are acknowledging the advocacy efforts and struggles of those that have raised their voices to help teach all of us about dyslexia. Jenine Hanson is a Naperville, IL native and has helped her own daughter navigate school as she was diagnosed with dyslexia in her early years. Jenine is also a great example of rolling up her sleeves and doing the work to help support all children through her work in schools and through continuing to advocate in the past with the Dyslexia Action Group of Naperville. Currently, Jenine has closed the group, but continues to advocate and use her voice to bring awareness to parents and community members about evidenced-based practices that belong in schools.
