April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
This episode I read different statistics about sexual harassment and sexual assault, different ways to support victims of these acts, raising awareness on topics about sexual harassment and assault, and much more.
This topic is a very sensitive and vulnerable topic. I refer to some posts from Instagram I found from other accounts because sometimes other people have the right words that we don't know how to say.
I made this podcast to share my life story and experiences and to have hard conversations. Opening up the discussion about this topic and a month dedicated to spreading awareness, I had to do my part with this episode.
Please find further resources about this topic at: www.nsvrc.org and www.rainn.org

Happy to be back this week and hope you enjoy!!!
In this episode, I discuss different studying techniques that are effective and tips for studying! I took a course on Cognitive Psychology last semester and wanted to share this information with anyone who could benefit from it!
Please share with anyone that could find this helpful!
In this episode, I discuss how my week went. I didn't have that great of a week and felt pretty low. I talk about things I did to kind of comfort myself with that and other things about my week. My period and the cold weather surely didn't help my serotonin!

This episode talks all about saying "no" ! How it's okay to put yourself first, only say yes if you want to, and to stop people pleasing. How to set those boundaries, etc.

In this episode, I talk about my past relationship with alcohol, the toxicity of drinking culture, why I gave up drinking, what to say and not to say when someone tells you they don't drink, reasons people may give up drinking, and all things on my journey to becoming alcohol free and sober. This episode is to talk openly about my experiences and share my story.
"Did you know that you can be sober and still be a f***ing legend?"
This episode was inspired by one of my class assignments for my Social Work in the community course. I talk about decreasing/ending the stigma of mental health struggles and mental illnesses. Topics include how everyone has mental health, ways we can work towards ending the stigma and be a part of the change, etc!
