Divorce: The First Six Months with Peter Maestrey

Sadie Marie - Ep. 26.3 - I’m not doing enough, I am not good enough. I am not worth it.

Listen Later

In this episode we start with Sadie distinguishing how she was conditioned from childhood to be fearful. To think that everything was going to go wrong. She explains how it carried over to her marriage, waiting for the next thing to go wrong. She talks about the ripple effect of that thought process and how it affected her health, and everything else.

She also gives you insights into how she changed that old way of being with specific details about her new patterns. The importance of who she surrounds herself with, and what she says to herself to encourage and empower a better result.

You can hear in Sadie’s story how she has been conscious of the work she is doing. A trait that is similar amongst most of us that have made divorce a positive in our lives.

That is something I wish to remind you of, which is that it takes work. Creating a new life, or a new path takes planning and attention. The more you apply yourself towards the things that you know work for you, the higher the chance that you will attain it. Nothing is easy, and you can hear it in Sadie’s story. She began to work on what helped her without forgetting what didn’t.
