The Assyrian Nation Association and the management of Assyrian Nissibin School celebrated the graduation of its students and the end of the academic year 2019. Mr. Ewan Dawood, president of the Association, said that the association had run Nassibin School for more than thirty years, and today we are witnessing that some of these students will be Assyrian teachers in the future.

Mr. William Oshana, the principal of the school, stressed that this achievement would not have taken place without the participation of the students, their families and the teachers who put a lot of their time, so we see the positive outcome of education clearly before us.

Australia's ageing population means there's a rapidly growing need for workers in the aged care sector.

 Even now, the sector faces severe staff shortages, relying more than ever on temporary migrants to plug the gaps.

She specialises in mental health and trauma on refugees. she was born in Sydney from Assyrian migrant parents and spent most of her life studding Psychology. She talks about her achievements and also explains the mental health issues effecting refugees

Once again the Assyrian Aid Society is preparing for the Mesopotamian Night, an event of culture, arts and entertainment.

June Ishtar Jako is the President of the AAS and member of the organising committee of MN. She told SBS that Mesopotamian night committee learned so much from 2019 concert. she added, the 2020 concert will have two female singer and five males including two classical singers: A tenor from Russia and a Countertenor from Australia. Dina Ochana and her brother Sumer  are the founders of the Assyrian Students' Association University of Sydney. They told SBS that the aim is to enrich student experience through the preservation of Assyrian people culture.

The Association tries to connect with non Assyrians to make them aware of Assyrians. Ms Ochana Also said that they take their inspiration from the Gilgamesh statue standing on the ground of the university and try to explain the history of ancient Assyrian Babylonia Akkadian  and how we relate to these civilisations

The Assyrian Cultural House in Auckland- Newzeland  held a graduate ceremony on Saturday 7th December 2019. Th school principal Agnes Ishak  said that We work together in raising our children to preserve their faith and their language . All society aspires for future generations to be open minded and educated.

We were very pleased by attending of His grace Mar Benyamin Elia bishop of Victoria and Newzealand and his speech at the ceremony.

Tighlat Rommel  ( A Law student)  says he grew up in a home that has great interest in politics and Since childhood he learned that our oppressed nation needs someone to contribute to take its case to the international community arena.
He added that the most difficult thing in university‘s life is is studying and working together.
