A plan to merge two key courts in Australia with the promise of reducing waiting times has received a mixed reaction.

The Victorian Bangla Mobile Library is enabling Bangladeshi expatriates in Melbourne to practice and spread the Bangla language.

On Friday 5 May 2017, the Australian Government announced the introduction of the new temporary sponsored parent visa for parents of Australians during the 2017–18 Migration Program year. The new visa would allow Australians to sponsor their parents to stay in Australia for up to five years at a time.
