Sarkaw Hadi Gorani is a Kurdish author, actor and director in theater and cinema, who lives in France. Lately he has started brodcasting "live" videos via social media. Mr Gorani, discusses a range of topics in his videos, from politics to religion, from social issues to Greek Mythology and all in between. Artist and musician Fadil Suna has lived in Australia since the mid-1980s. He had been an active member in the Kurdish community for many years. The Australian government is softening its language and says it may consider a refugee resettlement deal with New Zealand. But Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull says his priority is completing the refugee deal with the United States first. It comes as senior Turnbull government minister is warning any New Zealand deal could affect diplomatic relations.

We spoke to photographer Rawand Jawad about the importance of art and photography and its role in society, especially in Kurdish society. Rawand has been involved in many photography exhibitions in Germany and in Kurdistan Region. Prior to becoming a photographer he was an entertainment journalist. He tells us the reasons of becoming a photographer in the interview.
