Gyan Bahadur Shahi, 31, from Jumla, is one of Nepal's youngest MPs and is currently on an unofficial tour of Australia. After attending an event organised by the Non-Resident Nepalese Association Australia (NRNA-A) last week in Sydney with actress turned politician Karisma Manandhar on his trip to Melbourne, SBS Nepali asked him about how he became Gyanendra Shahi. Obeth Rai from Tasmania shared his journey from being a refugee in Nepal to becoming an Australian citizen.
