The Henley & Partners report ranked Australia's passport as the equal-seventh most powerful in the world, based on the number of countries it grants access to. It comes as demand for Australian citizenship reaches never-before-seen levels, with the Federal Government revealing in August close to 189,000 people were waiting for their citizenship applications to be processed.

Ова процена такође долази у време када потражња за аустралијским држављанством достиже нивое који никада раније нису били виђени, док је федерална влада у августу открила статистику да близу 189.000 људи  чека да се њихове пријаве за држављанство размотре.

The way Australians are using recreational drugs is changing, with this year's edition of an annual report finding a sharp shift towards the use of purer substances at very high rates. Researchers at the University of New South Wales' National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre say this year's findings are concerning.

Аустралијанци све више користе чистије опојне дроге у које спада и кокаин.  Истраживачи Националног центра за истраживање дрога и алкохола Универзитета  у Новом Јужном Велсу кажу да су подаци до којих су дошли у свом редовном годишњем извештају  о кориштењу такозваних "рекреативних дрога" у Аустралији- забрињавајући, пошто указују да на висок проценат кориштења чистијих супстанци.

Research suggests that countries with a higher social status, increased power on the world stage and certain set of social values mean that the official language of that country is more enticing to listeners.

Како крикет постаје све популарнији у Србији, Крикет федерација Србије била је током протеклог викенда домаћин трећег крилет сусрета између амбасада Аустралије и Велике Британије у Лисичијем потоку поред Београда (3rd  Balkan Ashes ).  Сусрет се завршио неочекиваним резултатом за крикет. У последњем оверу Енглеска је успела да сакупи 112 трчања и изједначи 120 трчања колико је Аустралија сакупила. Дакле изједначено и трофеј подједнако припада обема екипама.

With relatively even numbers of women undertaking tertiary education, it leaves us with the question what happened after graduation?  Why aren't these numbers represented across high ranking industry positions and awards?

In Australia,one in five positions within fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics are women, but Dr. Kristen Splinter and her team were noticing that within their field the representation of women in leading journals and conferences was dwindling. The Women in Coastal Geoscience and Engineering report has published statistics about gender equality in the field and pinpointed the key factors holding women back across industries.

У Аустралији жене заузимају једну од пет позиција у областима науке, технологије, инжењеринга и математике, скоро сви аустралијски универзитети имају 50 одсто студенткиња које изучавају те области али њихова заступљеност у радној средини, после студија, је мала.  Ново истраживање изазвало је расправе о истини која се односи на разлоге за то. 

One in three older Australians were born overseas – the majority of whom originally from a non-English speaking country.

Meanwhile, the number of school leavers graduating with a second language is declining.

A Monash University project has found a creative solution to this problem by pairing up older migrants with high school students learning a second language.

Један од три старија Аусталијанца је рођен у иностранству - од којих већина потиче из земаља којима енглески није говорни језик.

У међувремену, смањује се број студената који завршавају школу са знањем другог језика сем енглског.

У оквиру пројекта Монаш универзитета пронађено је креативно решење за овај проблем, спајањем старијих усељеника са студентима који уче неки други језика сем енглеског.
