Tommy Pham was selected by the Cardinals in the 16th round of the 2006 MLB draft.  After injuries, perseverance, and a chance, Pham finally made it to the big league club in September of 2014.  In 2017, Pham didn’t make the club out of spring training and he was called up on May 7 and he never looked back.  He put together one of the finest seasons in recent Cardinals history.  He finished the year batting .306 with 23 homeruns and 25 steals.  He was the first 20-20 Cardinals player since Reggie Sanders in 2004.  This year, he hasn’t stopped and he’s turned into one of the best players in Major League Baseball today.

Tommy Pham is one of my favorite players to watch.  The reason why?  It’s simple.  He plays the game the right way.  He plays hard.  He hustles.  All. The. Time.  In this podcast, Tommy talks about his life growing up in Las Vegas, his eye condition, and his road to the Major Leagues.  Also, what are his goals for this year?  He was incredible in this podcast.  Take a listen below and don't forget to subscribe to my podcast.  Enjoy!

David Eckstein played for the Angels, Cardinals, Blues Jays, Diamondbacks, and Padres. Eckstein was a fan favorite in St. Louis. The World Series MVP of 2006, David is one of the few starting shortstops who won a World Series in both the American and National Leagues.

For me, it’s always a pleasure to visit with David Eckstein. He was a class act towards me all the time during his playing career in St. Louis. Now, he’s traveling the country with his wife, actress/author Ashley Eckstein. From winning the World Series MVP, to Albert Pujols, and one of his favorite teammates, Jim Edmonds. It’s all covered in this podcast with David Eckstein.
