Scott joined us for a couple of glasses of afternoon Tequila Ocho Reposado and a great conversation about his journey through the world of real estate.

Born and raised in South Florida (with a solid NYC accent courtesy of his parents), Scott discovered his passion for real estate while earning his accounting degree at the University of Florida. That passion led him to New York City, where he started his career in Ernst & Young’s real estate division before moving to the acquisition side at Thor Equities. It was there that he found his niche—investing in Main Street placemaking opportunities, especially in Miami.

In 2016, he launched Tricera Capital, and in 2022, he co-founded Torose Equities.

We cover everything from his days playing high school water polo to his obsession with hot sauces (yes, he brought some for us to try). Bonus: we paired them with some seriously good wings from one of his tenants.
