Paul S. Williams is Chief Executive of the British and Foreign Bible Society Bible Society having previously worked for over a decade in business in London and then as an academic theologian at Regent College, Vancouver, where he holds a Research Professorship of Marketplace Theology and Leadership.  

Paul brings prayerful and critical consideration, leadership expertise, and a background in economics, business, political philosophy and theology to the Church’s missional engagement with contemporary culture. He is the visionary behind ReFrame, a video-based course that helps connect the big story of Scripture to daily life and work. His recent book, Exiles on Mission: How Christians Can Thrive in a Post-Christian World explores the experience of living as Christians in the 21st century and provides a missional understanding of post-Christendom Christianity, alongside constructive tools to help readers understand culture and form a missional response.  

Paul is married to Sarah and they have two adult daughters.

Listen to Linda Tripp, retired Vice President of the World Vision Global Partnership being interviewed by veteran journalist Lorna Dueck. In this episode, Linda shares stories about how Scripture first came alive for her and continued to guide her life as she worked in leadership positions for 31 years at World Vision. She managed a wide variety of overseas and domestic development programs as the first woman to serve as a Vice President in the World Vision Global Partnership. She established World Vision’s Private Sponsorship Program for refugees and implemented the opening of World Vision’s Toronto Refugee Reception Centre (now the Christie Refugee Welcome Centre) which helps government-sponsored refugees adjust to life in Canada. Now in retirement, she continues to serve on several boards, committees, and in her community - advocating for those who need a voice and pointing them back to God, the Giver of life.

Linda Tripp worked with World Vision Canada for 31 years beginning in 1976, managing a wide variety of overseas and domestic development programs. 

As the first woman to serve as a Vice President in the World Vision Global Partnership, Linda chaired the Women’s Commission, which developed a World Vision Partnership-wide policy on women in leadership and development programming. She was a member of the World Vision delegation to the UN Conference on Women, in Beijing, China, 1995 and the follow up Conference in New York, 2000.

Linda liaised with government aid agencies and non-government organizations across Canada. She served on various inter-agency committees, and as Vice Chair of the Board of the Canadian Council for International Cooperation.

She travelled extensively in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, witnessing first-hand the effectiveness of World Vision projects. She participated in consultations and workshops world-wide, on topics including refugees, innovative programming, and development. At home, she spoke about relief and development activities, women’s initiatives, promotion of justice and world issues. 

During her tenure she established World Vision’s Private Sponsorship Program for refugees beginning with the Vietnamese Boat people. She initiated the Global Education Department that produces high quality resources on global issues for schools, churches and the public. She implemented the opening of World Vision’s Toronto Refugee Reception Centre, an 80-bed facility which helps government-sponsored refugees adjust to life in Canada (now the Christie Refugee Welcome Centre). Linda also developed World Vision’s Advocacy Department to influence policies affecting children, peacebuilding and economics.

In retirement she has served on several Boards/Committees including Tyndale University, Wycliffe College, and MK Safety Net (Missionary Kids Safety Net). She headed the sponsorship of a Syrian family with two-year old triplets and continues a close relationship with them. She volunteers at an Urgent Care facility, and is a member of the Canadian Federation of University Women. Linda Lives in Paris, Ontario and is active in her church, Paris Community Church (Presbyterian).

Dr. Jennifer Holloran serves as President and Chief Executive Officer at The American Bible Society. With decades of experience in the global movement to expand Bible access and engagement, Jennifer has a keen ability to lead strategically and pursue innovation.

Prior to joining American Bible Society, Jennifer served Wycliffe Bible Translators USA for more than 22 years in various leadership roles, most recently as Chief Operating Officer. In this position, she oversaw Wycliffe USA’s global operations, including field partnerships, church engagement, finances, human resources, marketing and communications, development, and technology.

In addition to her work experience, Jennifer has also served on the boards of numerous organizations working to further develop Bible access and engagement, including Missio Nexus, Mission Aviation Fellowship USA, and Partners International.

Jennifer holds a doctorate in strategic leadership from Regent University as well as a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in human resources from University of Central Florida.

Jennifer and her husband, Tim, live in Philadelphia with their daughters, Katherine and Penelope. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running, video gaming, and music. Jennifer is a singer-songwriter who also plays piano, violin, and viola. She released her first album, “Come on Home,” in 2013.

Jonathan is a Mohawk/Scot from Ontario, Canada. His father was a Mohawk Elder and Visionary Rev. Andrew C.  Maracle Sr., his mother was Lillian Jane Ross, daughter of Scottish/Welsh English immigrants. 

As the visionary and founder of Broken Walls (an internationally recognized Indigenous musical group and ministry) Jonathan has travelled the world for the past 26 years. The vision of Broken Walls is to see people from cultural minorities restored and able to walk in their true destiny, realizing and able to share their unique gifts and abilities with the world around them.

Wesley Huff is currently working on a video series called “Can I Trust the Bible?” and is doing a PhD in New Testament and Christian origins at the University of Toronto’s Wycliffe College. He has participated in numerous public dialogues, debates, and interfaith events on issues of faith, belief, and religion across North America. 

Wes was born in Multan, Pakistan and spent a portion of his childhood in the Middle East. After being diagnosed with a rare neurological condition at the age of eleven that left him paralyzed from the waist down, Wes experienced a miraculous recovery that the doctors themselves said they had no medical explanation for. This experience, along with a great deal of study and soul searching in his later teens solidified his interest in the subjects of faith and engaging the beliefs and worldview perspectives of others. Currently he lives in Toronto, Canada with his wife their three children.

Daniel Loh is a visionary leader with a servant’s heart in ministry and missions. Since 2017, he has served as the Co-Director (Operations) of the United Bible Societies China Partnership (UBSCP), where he has led a cross-cultural team of over 20 staff members with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Daniel’s passion for God’s Word and unwavering dedication to serving the churches in China, has influenced the mission of translating, printing, distributing, engaging, and equipping believers, church leaders, and lay preachers with Bibles throughout the country.

Driven by a heart for Scripture, Daniel believes in making the Bible accessible to every believer, recognizing it as the cornerstone of transformation in individuals, families, and communities. His strategic vision has guided UBSCP to partner effectively with National and Provincial Churches in China, establishing programs that deepen Bible engagement and equipping pastors, lay leaders and seminary students with the Word of God. He has been instrumental in establishing training initiatives for pastors and lay preachers while advocating for the necessary financial and prayer support from Bible Societies worldwide.

Daniel’s leadership is characterized by vision, humility, and valuing relationships. He connects meaningfully with team members and partners, building trust and fostering a supportive community. “Daniel truly embodies Romans 12:15 - ‘Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.’ He always celebrates our successes and is ready to lend a listening ear and pray with us during challenging times,” shares one team member. His servant-hearted leadership is further demonstrated in simple acts of care, such as preparing team lunches and stocking the office with coffee pods and chocolates to create a warm and loving atmosphere.

Daniel is a loving husband to his wife, Ning, and a devoted father to his two sons, Matthew and Timothy. The Loh family spent over a decade serving as missionaries in Chengdu, China, where they collectively experienced God’s faithfulness. His sons speak of him not only as a leader but as a hands-on father who balances work, ministry, and family life with grace and diligence.

Dr. Rieuwerd Buitenwerf is the General Secretary of the Bible Society for the Netherlands and Flanders (BSNF), and also a Board Member of the United Bible Societies. His work at BSNF includes many projects with a large focus on Bible Engagement, and Youth and Children’s ministry. BSNF's focus on Bible Engagement saw the birth of the Family Bible for the Netherlands, with a wide distribution of almost 700,000 copies into 25 countries.

Rieuwerd has also tried to emphasize diversity in the ministry of the Bible Society for the Netherlands and Flanders, with a new initiative partnering with Migrant Churches and the joint global project of the Migration Bible, that was recently launched. He studied theology at and has a PhD from Leiden University and is the author of several books. His wife is a minister in the Protestant Church, and they are the parents of three teenagers.

Dirk Gevers is the Secretary General of United Bible Societies, providing strategic leadership to the global membership organization. Before taking up this role, Dirk was CEO of the Bible Society of South Africa (BSSA) for 8 years and was with BSSA for 15 years. He has fulfilled various regional and national church leadership roles throughout his ministry. In recent years he has served the Fellowship as Vice-Chair of the Global Council and Executive Board, and Chair of the Solidarity Fund Oversight Group. With global experience working across diverse cultural and confessional contexts, Dirk brings both a strong theological background and a passionate focus on unlocking access to the Bible for people everywhere.

Born into a Christian family of clergymen, from his childhood Anatoliy Raychynets watched his father and grandfather serve the church during the harsh times of the Soviet regime. He majored in Practical Theology from the Smyrna Theological Seminary in Norway and obtained a master’s degree from the Transcarpathian State University in Country Studies and Foreign Language Translation. Anatoliy majored in World History from the Uzhhorod National University. His thesis was on the topic “Conceptual foundations of Christian-Muslim theological dialogue”.

Since the full-scale invasion, he has been a volunteer military priest. Anatoliy was awarded the award "For Service to God and Ukraine" by the Spiritual Directorate of Chaplains.

Anatoliy Raychynets has been serving the Ukrainian Bible Society since 2001 in various roles, has been the Deputy General Secretary since 2008, and is the author of the book about the leaders of Protestant evangelical denominations, “Raised by God”.

Elaine Duncan is the Chief Executive of the Scottish Bible Society and Chair of the United Bible Societies (UBS) Fellowship Council. The work of the Scottish Bible Society is to share the Bible in Scotland and around the world as their conviction is that the Bible will lead people to Jesus. Elaine is not only enthusiastic about people having a Bible in their own language, but also in helping people understand it and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through it. The focus of Elaine’s work has always been to encourage people to know God better as they interact with His Word. 

Elaine previously worked with Scripture Union Scotland and the Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship. She has a degree in Behavioural Sciences (psychology) and worked for 18 months in a psychiatric unit. 

Elaine says fresh air, exercise, good coffee, stimulating friends and food go into making a great day! Elaine is originally from Cumbria. She now lives in Glasgow, works in Edinburgh and supports the Scottish rugby team!
