In this holiday episode, we ask why Halloween leads to the sexualization of professions such as nursing, firefighting, and, most controversial of all– nuns (nunning? nunnery?). Of course, this leads us back to one of our favorite sources; the circles of sexuality. DOWNLOAD here for free. Truth is, Halloween is just one instance of society writing us all a permission slip to dress however we want, so the question really is– what does it look like to give yourself permission to live your life how you actually want to? We encourage you to look at your personal recipe for a good time (ex. Halloween) and apply it to yourself, your dates, & your free time more often. After all, a recipe is only good if you use it.

The reality of life is that you have a body. And sometimes, because of a myriad of reasons– ie society, body dysmorphia, etc– there are days where we just hate our bodies. This is truly a universal experience and I hope this episode both equips you with tools to use on those hard days and shows you that you are not alone in this. The conversation today centers around honoring your emotions then making the active decision to help move yourself from a place of disgust with self to a place of appreciation.
