Hey, legends!
On today’s show: The Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn split headlines that are, we’re sad to say, completely legit. Then, are Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet dating? How Ellie Goulding became the face of fake news, who betrayed Mandy Moore, and we have reason to believe that last week’s story about Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher’s anti-nepo-babies was, well, bullshit.
This week, Zara recommended reading ‘Is Therapy-Speak Making Us Selfish?’ in Bustle and subscribing to Harling Ross Anton’s newsletter, Gumshoe. Mich recommended heading to your local cinema to watch Air.
Big thanks to Quay Australia and their new festival edit for making this episode possible. If you’re keen on a bold pair of sunnies, you can head to quayaustralia.com.au and browse their whole collection.

G’day, friends!
On today’s show: Two weeks after announcing his engagement to a woman named Ann Lesley Smith, Rupert Murdoch is back on the market ladies!!! Then, the reports about Em Rata’s ex-husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, are nothing short of disgraceful, two local Love Island stars are in a public slinging match, and how Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are trying to raise a family of anti-nepo-babies.
This week, Zara recommended Alex Cooper on The Diary Of A CEO and ‘My Marriage Was Never the Same After That’ in The Cut. Mich recommended Anna Kendrick on Armchair Expert and ‘Clare Stephens: On Being Jealous Of Her Best Friend’ from the But Are You Happy? podcast.

Hello, everybody!
Welcome to the second and final part of our series on Naomi Campbell. In February 2001, Naomi Campbell woke to find that her private battle with drugs and alcohol had been turned into front-page news by the British tabloids. Could she have ignored it? Possibly. But instead, Naomi decided to fight.

Hiya, friends!
Welcome to part one of our series on Naomi Campbell. She’s a supermodel so iconic, you only need her first name to know who we’re talking about. But she’s well known for reasons beyond that walk: from thrown phones to legal battles, Naomi’s reputation is complicated, to say the least.

Happy Saturday, book clubbers!
This month, we read ‘Alone With You in the Ether’ by Olivie Blake. The book follows our two main characters, Regan and Aldo, who meet by chance at the Art Institute. Prior to the meeting, he is a doctoral student who manages his destructive thoughts with compulsive calculations about time travel; she is a bipolar counterfeit artist, undergoing court-ordered psychotherapy. And then, well, they fall in love. But, like all good romance books, their love story is complicated, and we’re taken on the ride.
Got some thoughts on our April pick, ‘Vladimir’ by Julia May Jones? We’re allllll ears (also, eyes, heads, bodies, etc etc) - join in the convo over on our Insta, @theshamelessbookclub. Or, if you’re after some variety, here’s a link to record a voice message via our website, too.

Hey, friends!
On today’s show: Oh, Gwyneth. The founder of Goop and lover of “rectal ozone therapy” has shared her diet on a wellness podcast and it sounds like a parody. Plus! Taylor Swift’s eras tour is here and it’s about as Taylor Swift as you can get, we’ve found the missing piece of the Law Roach retirement puzzle, and is Emma Chamberlain really charging $10,000 for an Instagram DM?
This week, Mich recommended reading ‘The Man of Your Dreams: For $300, Replika sells an AI companion who will never die, argue, or cheat — until his algorithm is updated’ in The Cut. Zara recommended ‘How to Run a Fashion Magazine in China in 2023’ in the New York Times.
For Lindsay Peoples’s interview with Law Roach, head here.

G’day, mates!
Welcome to the final installment of our series on Hollywood Philanderers. Today, we’re talking about Ralph Fiennes. He’s probably not the most front-of-mind celebrity in 2023, but the real-life stories behind the man who played Voldemort in Harry Potter or the love interest in Maid in Manhattan are almost better than fiction.

Hello, everybody!
On today’s show: The Oscars, of course! The champagne carpet was rolled out, history was made, and Hugh Grant was grumpy as can be. Plus! Cara Delevingne has spoken about substance abuse and sobriety, there are rumours the 2023 Met Gala could be Kardashian-free, and what happens when the kids of influencers grow up? Teen Vogue has the rather sobering answers.
This week, Zara recommended Suki Waterhouse on High Low with EmRata, as well as “But how do you read so much?” from Pandora Sykes’s newsletter. Mich recommended Next in Fashion on Netflix.
Big thanks to CeraVe for making this episode possible. If you want to try quality products that tackle your stubborn pimples while supporting the skin’s moisture barrier, you can find CeraVe’s new Blemish Control range exclusively at Chemist Warehouse.
