Always love it when guests reach out to me to share some stories! Today's guest is high school senior Austin Cunningham. Austin has had a lot of great hunting experiences and shares some of his deer and turkey stories. He then tells the tales of some of his hog hunting adventures....not a topic we have covered a lot on the show so far. Let's just say things get a little exciting for Austin and his friends.

Happy today to have Clint Curtis on to share some of his favorite hunting stories and experiences with us. Clint has hunted for year but a few years ago he dedicated himself to learning more about deer movement, scouting, and maps. That led to a very successful 2022 season where he was able to harvest 4 deer including a mature buck.

Today I'm joined by two Shedding Light members, Josh Castle and Travis Shirer. Both had very unique deer seasons and today they come to unpack those stories. Trav experienced an unexpected gift one day while scouting and Josh experienced the opposite...the struggle bus. Yet both were able to achieve their goals and get a buck down.

Today I'm rejoined by good friend and hunting partner Matt Dove. Matt and I walked out of the Montana mountains back in September and have kept up here and there throughout the Ohio deer season. Matt comes on the show today to give us a great recap of his season. He was able to take a doe on public land and then he and I shared a hunt where he was able to get his first muzzleloader buck with just a few minutes left of daylight.

Today I am rejoined by my local friend Jesse Roush of SE Ohio. Jesse was first in the show in 2020 (EP. 54) and introduced us to "The Farm With No Name". We get an update on the farm and the work Jesse has put into it. We talk about some fun hunts he's had on it including his daughters buck from the ground last year. 

We then go a little deeper and Jesse unpacks his views as an agnostic. Does God have a name or is he just a higher power? We have a respectful conversation and dialogue about areas where we are the same and the journey we are all on.
