  • Ep. # 17: Time Out v. Burn Out
It is so important for us all to create some 'time-out', so we can focus on ourselves for a change, and re-charge our batteries.
Otherwise, we will burn out - and then we are no good to anyone, least of all yourself.

  • Ep.# 16. "No-one can give you an illness - you can only take it".
My amazing cousin said this to me over 40 years ago, when I was in my early 20's.

  • Ep.# 15: With A Little Help From My Friends
My favorite album by Joe Cocker was called "With A Little Help From My Friends", where he did a live concert with Leon Russell, Donna Washburn, Rita Coolidge, and a whole bunch of other great singers and musicians.
As I look back now, with such happy memories and such respect to that album and that group of such talented people, I realized how much better they all were by working together and not alone.
So make sure you seek and receive support from others. It not only lightens the load - it also creates a synergistic effect.
Point 3 in our podcast today...enjoy.

  • Ep. # 13: Tips to Help With Insomnia
Insomnia is something that has been a challenge for me ever since I was pregnant with my son Chris.
When he was born, he broke this hospital record - at 5.1kg or 11lbs 4 ounces. And the heartburn/GERD I had while carrying him was horrendous. Then he did not sleep one night for the first 4. And that was the start of my challenging relationship with sleep. Still, I have found many things that have assisted me since and here are some of them.
