On Ep 27, we're joined by our good friend, favorite nomad, and the founder of The Nomad's Kitchen, Will Spurway.
What better time to have a fun and lighthearted conversation with our pal across the pond. Spurway is from Somerset, England and is most passionate about sport and travel. With the help of football (soccer), he was able to leave home and move across the world to America at 19 to attend University. The adventure didn't stop there. He's since traveled to over 30 different countries, meeting new people, creating new experiences, and eventually, conjuring up his business plan.
We chat with him about our longtime friendship and how he had a hand in introducing Dev and Jess to their now husbands. We cover the hows-and-whys of his landing in Milwaukee from his small home town, and his decision to travel the U.S. living out of a van (spoiler alert: it's not as glamorous as it seems on blogger sites). He also takes us through his solo journey around Central America and provides us some tips and tricks how to live on a budget. In traveling from place to place, The Nomad's Kitchen was inspired.
The Nomad's Kitchen is an herbs and spices kit to help with eating on the road! It's designed by travelers, for travelers. The portable kitchen gives you all the tools you need to make food on the go, whether you are off camping, backpacking, or staying at a hostel. The mix of utensils and spices are neatly stored in a travel sized case, giving you the freedom you need to make your favorite dishes come meal time.
