In our first Everything In Conversation of 2025 we’re talking to thee Shon Faye- brilliant author, writer and journalist. Shon’s first book The Transgender Issue was a bestseller and her new non-fiction Love in Exile is already one of our favourite reads of this year.

Exploring both her own experiences of love, heartbreak and feelings of unworthiness as well as the problems and challenges of modern love from multiple angles, this is a book for anyone in love, out of love, wanting to understand love and romance in new and radical ways. 

In our chat Shon talked about romcoms, break-ups, community, addiction, different ways of mothering and what she’s learned about the history of love. She's funny, she's brilliant and we can't wait for you to listen.
