The National Pork Board is monitoring African swine fever, especially in prevention, and preparedness is still the priority. Dr. Becton points out the main objective for the biosecurity review is to make sure they aren’t missing anything, and the key point is preventing the disease from getting here, but to be prepared if it ever does.
