Folklore and BS is a lighthearted, curiosity fueled podcast where strange stories meet real world skepticism and nothing is off the table. Hosted by Amber and Keegan, this dynamic duo dives into folklore, ghost stories, urban legends, and unsolved mysteries from across the world, blending humor, storytelling, and just the right amount of side-eye. Each episode explores a different tale. Whether it's a haunted highway, a century old legend, or a modern-day conspiracy that's just a little too weird to ignore.

Out there—beyond the trailhead signs, beyond the maps and marked routes—there are stories.Stories of strange encounters. Unexplained events. Forgotten places. And moments in the wilderness that don’t quite make sense. The Great Weird Outdoors is where outdoor adventure meets the unknown.Hosted by longtime outdoorsman Jeremy, this podcast explores real locations tied to cryptid sightings, missing persons cases, local legends, and strange phenomena across America’s public lands. Some of these stories are documented. Some are whispered. Some… are still unfolding. But all of them are connected to places you can actually go.This isn’t just about listening. It’s about exploring. So whether you’re deep in the backcountry, driving a lonely stretch of highway, or sitting at home planning your next trip…Stay curious. And maybe… don’t go too far off trail.

Sure, It’s Only History

History. It happened. Someone should probably talk about it.

Sure, It’s Only History is a podcast hosted by Billy Galligan — a Dublin man living in Georgia who has absolutely no business presenting a history podcast and is doing it anyway. Sure why not.

From the events that shaped Ireland to the moments that derailed the rest of the world entirely, this show covers it all. Wars, disasters, rebellions, bad decisions, good intentions gone horribly wrong, and the occasional triumph against the odds — told the way history should always have been told. Over a cup of tea, with a raised eyebrow and nobody taking themselves too seriously.

Is it historically rigorous? More or less.

Is it entertaining? That’s the plan.

Will there be an Irish angle on absolutely everything? Almost certainly.

New episodes whenever Billy gets around to it — which, given everything else he has going on, is an act of God in itself.

This podcast tracks one resident across Iceland over a couple of years, learning each area before moving on. The terrain is mostly plateau, with icefields, mountain peaks, and fiords deeply indenting a coast that holds almost the entire population. Half of that population is around Reykjavík, the capital and largest city.
The host's range moves from the capital, Reykjavík, north to Akureyri, out to the Snæfellsnes peninsula, and up to Hornstrandir. Askja, in the highland interior, is a reminder of the volcanic history that shaped migration. Around the coast, the North Atlantic Current moderates the climate and opens the land into bays and fiords.
The series unfolds slowly, returning to the same Icelandic places as the seasons change. A damp, cool summer turns into a mild, windy winter, and the short daylight changes how the plateau and fiords appear. Each return adds a layer, until knowing a place properly feels like a resident's knowledge.
Katrín Jónsdóttir lives in Iceland and stays for two years, moving between cities, coastlines and smaller towns on a route that follows the seasons. Not a week-long visit — Katrín is there in every kind of weather, working out where to eat on an ordinary Tuesday, which train to take, what a festival actually feels like from the pavement.
A new episode arrives every day. Each one is short and specific: one neighbourhood, one journey, one meal, one museum worth the detour — with the practical detail that matters. What it costs. When it closes. Whether the queue is worth it. What to do when it rains. Every episode carries a full transcript and chapter markers.

Iceland Travel Podcast with Katrín Jónsdóttir

This show follows one person's attempt to know Uzbekistan properly, settling in a place, learning it, then moving somewhere connected to it. Travelling here means crossing flat desert, broad irrigated valleys and the Fergana Valley in the east, all inside one of only two doubly landlocked states in the world.
The host's range takes in Tashkent, Samarkand, Nukus and the Kyzylkum Desert, with repeated detours along the Amu Darya and Syr Darya. He returns to people and places between episodes, asking what has changed since his last visit and what has stayed stubbornly the same.
Over the seasons, the show returns to places Timur has already visited, so a valley is caught in cotton harvest, winter fog and spring planting. Knowledge accumulates slowly: which roads flood, where irrigated fields meet desert, how speech shifts from Uzbek to Russian to Tajik in different towns.
Timur Rashidov lives in Uzbekistan and stays for two years, moving between cities, coastlines and smaller towns on a route that follows the seasons. Not a week-long visit — Timur is there in every kind of weather, working out where to eat on an ordinary Tuesday, which train to take, what a festival actually feels like from the pavement.

☕ Enjoying the show?

Uzbekistan Travel Podcast with Timur Rashidov

This podcast follows one host as he settles in different parts of Kenya, from the Indian Ocean coast to the highlands. Travelling here means moving between humid coastal towns, the Great Rift Valley floor, and the densely settled western shore of Lake Victoria, each with its own rhythm.
The show moves from Nairobi's urban streets to the old port of Malindi, west to Kisumu on Lake Victoria, and north to Marsabit in Kenya's arid interior. It also returns to the Rift Valley escarpment and the slopes of Mount Kenya, where highland farming changes with the seasons.
He stays in one part of Kenya through the short rains and the dry season, then moves somewhere connected by history or landscape. The same towns and valleys reappear as the rains shift, so knowledge accumulates slowly, the way long familiarity with a place grows over months.
Baraka Kimani lives in Kenya and stays for two years, moving between cities, coastlines and smaller towns on a route that follows the seasons. Not a week-long visit — Baraka is there in every kind of weather, working out where to eat on an ordinary Tuesday, which train to take, what a festival actually feels like from the pavement.

Kenya Travel Podcast with Baraka Kimani

In a small Idaho logging town nestled among the pines, one murder changed everything.
More than thirty years later, the murder of Hazel Martin remains unsolved.

Hazel's Last Hand follows an active, independent investigation into what happened to Hazel in 1996. Through interviews with family members, friends, investigators, and those connected to the case, we revisit the events surrounding her disappearance and murder, reexamine the known facts, and explore the unanswered questions that continue to haunt this close-knit community.

Because after 30 years, we haven’t forgotten.

Mijn echte naam is Yvonne Padmos!
