I was a closet-case dj...

who mixed phat beats for an imaginary audience, late at night, in my bedroom in Toronto.

Now I'm breaking out and playing here and there for kicks.

I fell in love with house music back in the day, at JOY, INDUSTRY and dare I say THE BARN (Wednesday nights - Nobody back then would be caught dead there on a Saturday!).

Funky, Chunky, Disco-fuelled, Chicago House. (Or at least my take on it).

Everything is mixed live on 2 Pioneer CDJ-400s & a Vestax mixer, that sadly has seen better days.

*DJ MIKE B. is sometimes know as "DJHK" (DJ Hard Kora) or DJ BoyUK. Strangely, you never see them all in the same room together...

Izmir is where it started. Barcelona is where she is now. Hilal Demir — Agent of Chaos — plays Tech House and Techno like she means it. Her sets are shaped by two cities, a lot of living, and an instinct for what a room needs. She doesn't follow a formula — she reads the floor, follows the feeling, and takes people somewhere they didn't expect to go. No filler, no ego. Just the kind of sets that remind you why you came out in the first place — and keep you there until the lights come on.

Be a Better Artist

Sneakers 54 was established in 1976 when a group of friends got together after deciding they had to do something about the lack of good West end clubs that played Jazz,Funk & Soul music. They found that in order to gain entry into clubs they would need to dress in suits, pay extortionate entrance fees, and then have to listen to pop music for hours until the DJ decided to play the odd Soul or Jazz tune at the end of the night.Their next move was to hire venues in the West End and hold their own club nights playing the music we loved. The nights became more regular and soon built up a following that had been looking for the same things; they wanted to listen and dance to the best in Jazz, Funk & Soul in a friendly and safe environment. They decided to name themselves "Sneakers 54" after the classic Jazz-Funk track by Sea Level , the one track which closely resembled the spectrum of music they most enjoy and play at their club nights.... And they still believe ........it's all about the vinyl !This is a sample of the music they played; If you enjoy any of the music played here, please support the artists and buy their music ...As without them we have no music !......Thanks for listening !
