The Orlando Magic's defensive identity continues to crack after another dispiriting 121-114 loss to the Chicago Bulls. The team lacked the resilience and effort that have become the trademarks of this team.

Despite Paolo Banchero's 31-point outing and another solid game from Anthony Black, the Magic again went silent offensively in the fourth quarter and got outworked on defense and on the glass to give the game away yet again.

The only silver lining is the apparent nearness of Franz and Moe Wagner's return to the lineup. Their return could help the Magic right the ship.
