  • Hangout in the Holy Land: Ohio State football and men's basketball transfer portal update, NFL Draft preview (04/27/22)
Land-Grant Holy Land’s flagship podcast ‘Hangout in the Holy Land’ is back! Join LGHL’s co-managing editor Gene Ross alongside his co-host Josh Dooley as they cover everything from football to basketball to recruiting and more!
On this week’s episode, the guys break down the latest on Ohio State in the transfer portal, whether it be guys coming into the program or new destinations for those that have left both on the football field and on the basketball court. They then transition into this week’s main topic: the NFL Draft. Gene and Josh discuss all of the Buckeyes in this year’s draft pool, from the sure-fire first-round picks to those who may be fringe starters at the next level.
“Hangout in the Holy Land” is will now return to one episode a week during the offseason, dropping every Wednesday (don’t hold us to that). Be sure to download and listen in wherever you get your podcasts, and leave us a review on Apple to let us know your thoughts and how we can make things even better!

  • I-70 Football Show: NFL Draft Edition
Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Holy Land’s I-70 podcast. On this show we talk all things Big Ten football and basketball. After every week of action, we will get you caught up on all the conference’s games and look ahead at the matchups, storylines, and players that you should be paying attention to in the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host Dante Morgan.
After a few weeks off, Dante and Jordan return to the podcast to talk the NFL Draft. The 2022 draft is less than a week away, airing Thursday through Saturday, and some Big Ten players are hoping to change their lives forever. Despite in-person draft attendance dwindling there are still four Big Ten players — Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, George Karlaftis, and Aidan Hutchinson — attending the draft.
Dante and Jordan discuss NFL Network’s Lance Zierlein’s Mock Draft 3.0. Does Aidan Hutchinson to the Lions make sense? Are the Jaguars making a mistake taking unproven Travon Walker and his high upside over Hutchinson? Will Chris Olave fall to the 23rd pick and is it because he skipped the bowl game? Why are there no Big Ten offensive lineman projected in the first round? The guys try to answer all these questions and more.
In their weekly pitstops, Jordan discusses adulthood and landscaping. Why is everything expensive and should he invest in his lawn or just handle what grass is already there? Dante discusses grilling, smoking, and treating himself to a nice steak occasionally.

  • Buck Off Podcast: Remaining questions on defense, expectations for the offense, and Florida recruiting pipeline
On today’s episode of “Buck Off with Christopher Renne,” Chris and Jordan Williams discuss Ohio State’s Spring Game, and the questions they still have.
To start the show, they discuss their experiences at the game watching the Buckeyes for the first time in 2022. They then talk about the size of the stadium and how much different seeing everything happening live feels.
After that, they get into what the Spring Game means for the Buckeyes as they head into next season. They also talk about Jim Knowle’s defense, starting with the defensive backfield and then talking about the depth in the secondary and on the defensive line. Then Chris and Jordan get into some discussion about the expectations for a linebacker group and pass rush that they don’t yet know a lot about.
They also discuss Ryan Day’s offense and the answers we got on Saturday. They break down the talent in the backfield and how much is also present in the quarterback room. They next get into the Buckeyes figuring out the tight end room, why the receiver transition might not be seamless, and then close out the offensive conversation with the biggest question mark on that side of the ball: the offensive line.
The Buckeyes have built a steady pipeline from Florida to Columbus, so the pair also gets into why that has recently resurged and talks about the recruits that the Buckeyes have landed recently.
They also discuss the current state of the recruiting class and how this cycle might end up looking geographically. Lastly, they discuss if some teams are getting a little too confident heading to the offseason.

Welcome back! A lot happened in Ohio State’s spring game this past Saturday, including a new format and a good look at both of the Buckeyes’ backup quarterbacks, which Megan and Jami break down.
There were also some heartwarming stories this past week in sports that Jami and Megan discuss, including Tampa Bay Rays’ Brett Phillips sharing a special moment with eight-year-old Chloe Grimes and Alyssa Nakken becoming the first female coach to be on the field during a baseball game.

  • The Dotted Line: Breaking Down Ohio State's Easter Commitments, Spring Game Action (04/18/22)
On “The Dotted Line”, Land-Grant Holy Land’s Matt Tamanini talks to recruiting experts, LGHL’s recruiting analysts, and prospects themselves to get a unique perspective on the players that will be a part of Ohio State’s future.
On this episode, Matt Tamanini is joined by LGHL recruiting columnist Caleb Houser to break down the Sunday commitments of CB Dijon Johnson and WR Bryson Rodgers. Though both are technically outside the top 250 in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, that likely won't last long as their talent is pretty evident on film, and there's no reason not to trust the Ohio State coaches at this point.
Caleb also breaks down what he saw, especially from the defense, during Saturday's spring game.

  • Buck Off Podcast: Remembering Dwayne Haskins, Spring game superlatives, and recruiting visitors
On today’s episode of “Buck Off with Christopher Renne,” Jordan Williams is back this week to discuss Ohio State’s Spring game,
Before the guys into the Spring Game, they take some time to discuss and remember Dwayne Haskins. The show starts on a somber note, but the guys take some time to talk about the legacy Dwayne left behind.
The guys then discuss what they’re most intrigued about entering the Spring Game. A long discussion about the offensive line, defensive line, and who winning that battle is more important for the outlook of the team. They also discuss the receivers, Devin Brown potential, and more.
After that, the guys give out their picks for some Spring Game superlatives. They get into breakout performers, old timers shining, offensive/defensive MVP’s, and the best quarterback performance. This turns into some depth discussions surrounding the roster and some debate in which players will impress the most.
The Buckeyes have their NIL practices and Transfer portal plans in place, but not all programs are following suit. The guys discuss Dabo Swinney’s recent comments and how that way of thinking will create conflict in the program. We discuss Ryan Day, Brian Kelly, and Nick Saban adapting while others get left behind.
Lastly, our final big discussion gets into Ohio State’s recruiting visitors. We get into who the next commit might be and some big names the Buckeyes are hosting.
