  • Stick to Sports: Reliving Favorite Ohio State Memories, Mourning a Campus that No Longer Exists (01/30/22)
Land-Grant Holy Land’s Stick to Sports is unlike any podcast you’ve heard on the Ohio State beat. Your hosts, Matt Tamanini and Jami Jurich, will (of course) talk Ohio State sports, but the primary focus of the show will be on what’s going on around the periphery, such as weird/funny happenings in college football and the sports world at large, as well as other things that keep us interested in between games, whether that’s pop culture, social media trends— you name it.
On this episode of "Stick to Sports," with the football offseason now fully in effect, Matt and Jami look back at their favorite Ohio State athletic memories. From historically nicknamed plays to national championship victories to legendary roadtrips to looking like an idiot at basketball games and more, the pair discuss the highlights of their Buckeye fandoms.
Then, with Matt heading to Columbus in a week, they talk about all of the changes that have happened on campus in the years since their respective tenures as OSU students. Then, as always, they wrap up the episode with a couple of recommendations.

  • The Dotted Line: Are there any Surprises Coming on National Signing Day? How OSU's New Coaches Are Recruiting (01/29/22)
On “The Dotted Line”, Land-Grant Holy Land’s Matt Tamanini talks to recruiting experts, LGHL’s recruiting analysts, and prospects themselves to get a unique perspective on the players that will be a part of Ohio State’s future.
On this episode, Matt Tamanini is joined by LGHL recruiting columnist Caleb Houser to preview Wednesday, Feb. 2's official National Signing Day. As has been the case in recent seasons, there is not much left to be done for the Ohio State Buckeyes on Signing Day as they mostly have their classes signed, sealed, and on campus following the Early Signing Period in December. However, there are two important Buckeye commits who still need to sign on... the dotted line (see what we did there) on Wednesday. So Matt and Caleb discuss the latest on Carson Hinzman and Omari Abor as they try to figure out if they will officially join OSU's 2022 class or not.
Then the pair discusses the feverish recruiting pace that Ohio State's newly reconfigured coaching staff has been keeping up on the road, who is a 2023 prospect to keep an eye on, and much more.

  • Buck Off Podcast: Hall of Fames are shams, the offseason blues, and some recruiting notes
On today’s episode of “Buck Off with Christopher Renne,” I am joined, as always, by Jordan Williams for the third episode of Ohio State’s offseason and we are feeling the offseason blues hard.
We begin the show by talking about our least favorite offseason topics and why we hate how people grade coaching staff hires in January. We also discuss the importance of assistant coaches and why there are more important things than names.
Then we keep on complaining because we have problems with the Hall of Fames of major sports league and some issues about the college football Hall of fames. Major League baseball is the vehicle, but we still talk about Ohio State in this segment.
After the break, we get into the B1G’s plan to move away from dvisions. We talk about how it might work and why it’s beneficial for everybody involved. We move forward and discuss the NIL dominance by Ohio State and ponder why anyone ever had problem with this. We talk about some of the deals that were exciting to see and what cars we’d want from a local auto dealer.
Our final discussion is about some of the final recruiting takeaways as the composite ranking gets finalized. We talk about Devin Brown’s number one ranking and some of the exciting factors of this class.

  • Hangout in the Holy Land: Our Horrible Predictions, NFL Playoffs, OSU Recruiting (01/26/22)
Land-Grant Holy Land’s flagship podcast ‘Hangout in the Holy Land’ is back! Join LGHL’s co-managing editor Gene Ross alongside his co-host Josh Dooley as they cover everything from football to basketball to recruiting and more!
On this week’s episode, we kick things off by discussing a wild weekend of NFL Playoff games. As our resident Bengals fan, Josh gets to bask in his glory, but we do manage to tie it all in to Ohio State somehow or another. The guys then get into the latest in Ohio State recruiting, with a new commitment coming over the weekend and a plethora of new offers coming from the Buckeyes’ new staff. Finally, we look back at some of the Land-Grant Holy Land preseason predictions from back in September. Needless to say, they’re not the best!
Hangout in the Holy Land’s will now return to one episode a week during the offseason, dropping every Wednesday (don’t hold us to that). • Play Like a Girl: A Weekend to Love Special Teams and Hate Overtime Rules (01/25/22)
On LGHL’s Play Like a Girl podcast, Meredith Hein welcomes in friends from around the LGHL, Ohio State, and sporting worlds to talk everything from Ohio State sports to advocacy for women in sports and all the happenings in between.
Welcome back, folks! For as many blowouts as we saw in the Super Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs, we saw as many thrillers in the Divisional Round this past weekend. The four games we were treated to Saturday and Sunday did not disappoint, and Tia and Meredith talked everything from quarterback drama to field goal drama to overtime drama — because what’s a playoff weekend without a healthy dose of dramatics?
The NFL wasn’t the only thing in action this weekend. Meredith and Tia also got into two of the spectacular women’s college basketball performances ever (both of which came this past week) and the 50th anniversary of a historic brawl they’d never heard of before.

  • I-70 Football Show: A Season Recap - Non Bowl Tier
Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Holy Land’s I-70 podcast. On this show we talk all things Big Ten football and basketball. After every week of action, we will get you caught up on all the conference’s games and look ahead at the matchups, storylines, and players that you should be paying attention to in the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host Dante Morgan.
In this episode we update the NFL playoffs with live reactions to the Chiefs vs. Bills game. By the end of the episode Patrick Mahomes mounted a last second comeback and an overtime win to advance to the conference championship. We also celebrate Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady heading home at the hands of the 49ers and Rams respectively. Finally, despite nine sacks, OSU Joe finds a way to advance upsetting the Titans
In our post season recap we discuss the four teams, Indiana, Northwestern, Nebraska and Illinois, that did not reach bowl eligibility. After high expectation Indiana bottomed out leading to a 2-10 season that left more questions than answers. After a Big Ten championship appearance Northwestern's wheels fell off despite an easy schedule leading to a 2-10 season. The defense lost their stride but not having a quarterback throw for 1,000 yards was a much worse issue that must be fixed.
Nebraska, the best 3-9 team in the country, finished their fourth straight season under Scott Frost without a bowl appearance. As we all know they decided to keep Scott Frost choosing to ignore his teams’ underwhelming performances and inability to win close games. Lastly, Illinois is the one team in this tier who season was actually a positive. After restarting their program by hiring Bret Bielema, the Illini showed a level of discipline, toughness, and desire that allowed them to out punch their talent. Had they played a typical out of conference slate they may have been a bowl team.
In their weekly pit stop, Jordan celebrates the Winter Olympics. Summer is okay but there is nothing like watching people do tricks while snowboarding and skiing. Dante makes his case that Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees are regular season stat stuffers who consistently fail in the playoffs.

  • Stick to Sports: Examining the Impact of Returning Buckeyes, Debating Best Show in TV History (01/23/22)
On this episode of "Stick to Sports," Jami and Matt discuss the three latest big name Buckeyes coming back for another year in Columbus. They look at what Dawand Jones, Zach Harrison, and Noah Ruggles did in the previous season and talk about how much impact can have on Ryan Day's 2022 team.
From there, they discuss Harrison's viral tweet from last week in which he asked his more than 10,000 followers to help him decide between "Game of Thrones" and "Breaking Bad." From there – having previously discussed their favorite TV shows of all-time – Matt and Jami try to land on what the best TV show of all-time is.

  • Bucketheads: Updating the Men's Basketball Season, Justin Ahrens is Colder than an Ohio January (01/22/22)
Land-Grant Holy Land’s newest podcast, ‘Bucketheads’ takes you on a journey across the college basketball landscape every episode. The only basketball-focused podcast in the LGHL family of podcasts, co-hosts Connor Lemons and Justin Golba give the latest scoop on the Ohio State Buckeyes as well as all the other happenings in the college hoops world. ‘Bucketheads’ will be released every Thursday morning throughout the regular season.
Should Justin Ahrens keep letting it fly? Will we ever see Justice Sueing or Seth Towns in an Ohio State uniform again? Who let Rutgers creep up towards the top of the Big Ten? This week’s episode is as scatterbrained as a chipmunk with ADHD as we crisscrossed all of our basketball-related thoughts, two days after Ohio State’s game with Nebraska was cancelled.
The guys also broke down how the “*insert bench player* needs more minutes!” crowd may not be thinking things through, why scheduling replacement games on the fly is so difficult, and tease a very important guest that will be joining us next week.

  • Buck Off Podcast: Coaching Titles, Notre Dame Buckeyes, and 2022 NFL draftees
On today’s episode of “Buck Off with Christopher Renne,” I am joined, as always, by Jordan Williams for the third episode of Ohio State’s offseason and we talk about what these coaches are actually doing.
We begin the show by talking about a friend of the shows article on walk-ons and why Corey Dennis needs to get some respect put on his name. We then get into the Buckeyes who are at the University of Notre Dame and why trying to copy Ohio State is a terrible idea.
After that we get into a discussion about the return of Zach Harrison, this leads to a discussion about the role he’ll play under Jim Knowles. We also discuss if Knowles is going to be as crazy as we think.
After the break, we discuss the jobs and titles of all the coaches on the staff. This leads into a discussion about all the roles each title entails and conversation about raises in the higher education system. Then we talk about what Kevin Wilson actually does now?
Our final discussion is a long talk about the 2022 NFL Draftees and our projections on what round we think they’re going to be drafted again. We also get into how abd draft evaluators are at what they do.
