They say variety is the spice of life, but this week they are very wrong. TWe're covering movies that some how manage to be interesting despite (or perhaps because) they take place in one location. Lindsay talks about the cinematic benchmark movie 12 Angry Men, Mollie gets really, like really, weird with Dogtooth, and we both shake in fear over Rear Window. 

Who will walk away with a mid-sized golden globe statue thingy this year? We chat about who will win and who we actually want to win in the movie categories at this year's Golden Globes. Fair warning: we're super biased and in no way professionals in this field. Enjoy our predictions because they could be on point or totally wrong; it is the Golden Globes after all.

It's the real deal in Christmas movies, at least in our opinions. Lindsay talks about the serious side of The Santa Claus that makes it special, Mollie covers a long-time classic A Christmas Story, and we both mostly just talk about the million tiny moments that make Elf so special. But I mean, is it really a CHRISTMAS movie? This week we take a look at the hot button issue of holiday movies. Lindsay revisits the classic tale of poor parenting in Home Alone, Mollie explains her disdain for Trading Places, and we both express pretty adamantly that Die Hard is not a Christmas movie. 

In honor of the genius that is Stan Lee, we decided to dig into some of our favorite Marvel Villains. Lindsay talks about the gothic beauty that is Hela, Mollie bows down to the perfection of Michael B. as Killmonger, and we both take a step outside of the Disney Marvel universe to discuss The Green Goblin in Spider-Man.

Our first foray into documentaries is certainly a dark one. In this episode Mollie discusses the endlessly controversial media circus of Amanda Knox, Lindsay delves into the mental illness meets murder story of Mommy Dead and Dearest, and we both talk about the movie that changed the true crime doc game, The Thin Blue Line.

Men better run and hide; it's Femme Fatale week. Lindsay takes a look at the genius of Faye Dunaway in Chinatown, Mollie reminds of the ass kicking Uma Thurman in Kill Bill Vol. 2, and we both express our sincere disappointment in the highly talked about Fatal Attraction. Yeah, yeah. We know the baseball season ended. But we celebrate this sport all year people! So we covered just a few of the many amazing baseball movies with our special guest Producer Alex. Lindsay talks about the sobering story of Jackie Robinson in 42, Alex does a great job breaking down the classic team of misfits in Bad News Bears, and (fair warning) we get into baseball geek territory when Mollie dissects Moneyball. 

Time for the family fun scares! In our final week of Halloween celebration, we're talking about our favorite family-friendly movies. We've got a Christina Ricci double whammy between Casper and The Addams Family. Then we get into THE BEST (not an exaggeration) Halloween movie ever made, Hocus Pocus. Enjoy witches!
