Sudy, our "real" guest is celebrating 6-months of sharing her wellness journey with us on the podcast. For both of us, over the last few months, we have been blessed by the powers of self-care.
Today on Small Changes Big Shifts I am celebrating healthy happenings in Kansas City! On the first part of the show, I am talking to Jill Minton the owner of T.Loft. In 2010 Jill was an IT Consultant that traveled all the time. But then she started to notice that things really weren't quite right. After lots of tests she found out that she had Celiac Disease. Jill and her family became really passionate about a gluten-free lifestyle and eating fresh clean food. In 2013, that passion created T.Loft. In the second half of the show I am speaking with my dear friend and my personal wellness coach Shelly Murray. Shelly has worked with me for over a decade. She has guided me and helped me create a holistic wellness plan for myself and my practice. In the last year after my accident she was an essential part of healing process.
Today is a really special day on Small Changes Big Shifts. We have Dr. Terry Wahls on the show. In 2000, Dr. Wahls was diagnosed with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis. By 2003 she had transitioned to secondary progressive multiple sclerosis. In December 2007, she began the Wahls Protocol™. Within a year, she was able to walk through the hospital without a cane and even complete an 18-mile bicycle tour.
We also have Julie Robinson on the show. Julie was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis last year. She started using the Wahls Protocol™ and within months saw huge changes in her symptoms.
