I’ve been there. I was often the one giving advice to others, yet somehow those same tips didn’t seem to work for me. Why? Because no matter how good you are at “communicating,” “negotiating,” or “presenting,” if you’re not in a workplace that values your contributions, those skills alone won’t bring you happiness.
This realization became the driving force behind this podcast. It’s why I believe so deeply in the power of soft power.
Our soft power allows us to be more curious, more honest, and to set clear boundaries. It helps us align our intentions and values internally—creating a healthy foundation for both our work and our mental well-being.

I know—this may not be the title you were expecting, but hear me out.

A few months ago, I was going through some heavy stuff. After a full month of “healing”—self-help books, therapy, journaling, consuming all the right materials—I was still stuck. The sadness wouldn’t leave. I just wanted the feelings to go away.

Then one morning, after waking up from yet another restless night—jaw clenched, chest heavy—I realized something. Chasing positivity felt like running a marathon on empty.

That’s when I stumbled upon a poem I had loved but forgotten: The Guest House by Rumi. It hit me differently this time.

For years, the divorce process was crippling and took a serious toll on my mental health. The external battle against the taboo surrounding the topic and the internal struggle with my self-identity were very real.

But today, I can say that I have emerged on the other side.
