Animator and author Ashlyn Anstee returns to the show to talk about Shadow the Hedgehog, Chao Gardens, and also to read the fortune for the show's future!

Our friends, animator/creator Matt Braly and cartoonist/creator Sam Logan, join the show to discuss their thoughts on Sonic x Shadow Generations, with a deeper dive into the new lore! Ohhhhhhh, folks!

It's finally here! Recorded the day before the official launch of Sonic x Shadow Generations but a few days after its early release, the boys discuss their initial thoughts about Sonic Team's latest game. Is the episode full of fanboy gushing? Or are there spicy hot takes to be had? Listen and learn, friend!

This week, we're joined by Geoffrey Golden to learn about what it's like designing the narratives of and writing for video games. As usual, we find ourselves taking detours to Archie Comics lore along the way, and there's some additional surprises too. Enjoy!

Concluding a long-running storyline, Grant finally completed Sonic Unleashed — with a little help from friends like Bo, that is — and shares thoughts on Eggmanland and the endgame. Then, David the Lurker shares thoughts on the conclusion of Sonic x Shadow Dark Beginnings and overall it's a very good episode, no notes, and definitely no weird ending.

It's the beginning of spooky season, and so Grant, Bo, and David are here to ponder about The Purge in the Sonic universe. They also answer mailbag questions, review the new revelations in Sonic x Shadow Generations: Dark Beginnings Episode 2, and discuss the "new" Garfield Caught in the Act stages from Sega Channel.
