We start slow from our return to the mainland, then as the topics start to flow (from Montreal to Houston to Philly to the Fantasy League and finally to the scourge of the league) we get seriously animated.
And we talk about soccer sometimes too.
Oh and three? What a travesty.
There is plenty with which to be bitter, not the least of which the state of officiating. And we speak of it this once and never again!!!
And expect a lengthy break from the Pow Wow as Spring Break is upon us and Vegas beckons. Granted, it's no Disneyland, but there's more strippers, so that's something.
Sorry about the whole missing a week thing. Troy was sick (or so he claims) and with the Sunday night season opener, our schedule got messy.
But we're back to lament the opening two matches. look forward to the Cascadia Cup opener against Vancouver Whitecaps and praise the Fantasy League.
Oh, and answer your questions as well.
We're off on another adventure in Major League Soccer with opening day all being tomorrow and such. The Sounders taking on Sporting KC after crapping out of the CCL on Wednesday.
It's all good. Except for Drogba and Lampard and such.
Our predictions for the league, our predictions for the game and a reminder about the Fantasy League over on mlssoccer.com.
Here it is still the pre-season and the boys are heading off into a real live competition against a foe who is well into their own league play. Will things go swimmingly at home this Tuesday or something else?
And what about the new jerseys? We have things to say.
It has been a long and stormy winter (of our discontent) and the Pow Wow is forced to sing for its supper (on multiple occasions).
You have been warned.
Took far too long to get this podcast to the people and Jonathon offers a most sincere apology for his neglect of the masses (or the one).
Talk of trades and salaries. Talk of bitter loathing for a certain team from the south (whose name won't be mentioned here).
Oh, what a ride it was, that craptastic venture to Frisco. Nothing like a change in strategy to send the wheels straight off the buggy (for the seventh year in a row).
Plenty of discussion about the offseason, coaching and Ozzie.
Another game, another positive result. We could get used to this.
Plenty of positive to take away from the match at The T on Sunday, along with a few concerns moving forward in the playoffs.
Plus a story about parking gone wrong (not to be confused with Parking Gone Wild!).
Plenty to grin about with the defeats of Real Salt Lake and the LA Galaxy over the last week, so it shouldn't be a surprise that the show goes completely off the rails within moments of hitting the record button.
Eventually the conversation turns to the upcoming game against the Hoops and predictions are made...kind of.
