From Volume 79 of our Vast Library of Sound comes the funniest show on radio, The Phil Harris Alice Faye Show.  Today Phil's looking to train little Alice how to sing then Frankie helps Phil look for a new singer for the show.  It's a funny one originally broadcast January 14, 1951.  Your Humble Host invites you to have a laugh with us.  Enjoy.

In Volume 86 of Sounds Like Radio we find Gildy creating a kitchen spatula-knife with his name on it for Katherine, his sweetie.   Katherine's knife is broken and our man Gildersleeve invents a knife everyone seems to like.   Let's get creative with Gildy in this Great Gildersleeve from March 8, 1950.   

Even our great host of singers contribute a few ideas of their own for names for a knife.   As we enjoy the sounds of Jo Stafford, Sammy Davis Jr., then Bing Crosby enters the studio with his idea, Betty Boop goes barefoot in the winter, Al Jolson has a grand name in mind for the knife, Jimmy Dean tells us about a frilly shirt and Ella Fitzgetald says it's all good.

Welcome to Sounds Like Radio Volume 85.  As Marjorie prepares for the wedding it’s shower time now but what will the men do?  Marjorie asks Gildersleeve to take Bronco’s father out on the town.  So off they go, Joseph Kearns (Dennis The Menace’s Mr. Wilson) as Bronco’s father and Gildy they have a rather surprising time too.  Listen for the fun with "Mr. Wilson" & Gildy in this March 1, 1950 show.

A trip down memory lane for me as I was still in High School when I recorded this tape for the ages and little did I realize for you too.  Today another one of my very own exclusive Jean Shepherd tapes I recorded on October 25, 1974.  Now it's Volume 77 of Sounds Like Radio's Library of Sound.   In this one Jean's all set to talk about the many many Talents of the Oaf.  The oafs are proud too to show off their varied talents.
