The bar known as Scarlett O'Hara's was originally home to a man named George Colee. George was engaged to a young lady but unfortunately she cheated and the relationship ended. A short time later George died under suspicious circumstances in the home. Ever since, people who work in the building have claimed to see strange things. The spirit of George Colee is said to behind the activity and is constant presence in his old home.

Like most prominent businessmen Low lived a double life and wound up cheating on his wife, Juliette Gordon Low, who would go onto form the Girl Scouts.

Numerous people died in the home and the mansion is said to be bustling with paranormal activity. Several different ghosts have been spotted in the house and staff members regularly talk of weird and unexplainable things that happen.

The old Nelson County jail in Bardstown, Kentucky is now known as the Jailer's Inn. However, at one time it was home to some of the worst criminals in the Commonwealth over the years.
