Find Your Cosmic Calling with Astrologer Natalie Walstein

I am so excited to introduce you to Natalie Walstein, host of the Cosmic Calling podcast! She was one of my first mentors when I went full-time in my business and I’ve been inspired by her podcast for a long time as well.

I was really drawn to her in one of her episodes about the nodes and booked a reading in December 2019. When Natalie said that I would be working with large groups of people, I said there was no way. Her response was, “I guess you’ll have to do it scared.” That changed my life!

A birth chart covers your soul’s mission, so parts of it may not resonate until later as your life unfolds.

- Astrology is interpreted differently by each astrologer. Find what resonates with you!

- Helping people to leave jobs they hate and transition into doing what they really love is what made Natalie choose career astrology.

- Natalie was introduced to spirituality at an early age but didn’t take it seriously until she had a serious illness and had a spiritual awakening.

- Looking at the symbols, she is able to feel their energy and see visions of what they mean and channel pages of information about them.

- Your birth chart is an accumulation of past lifetimes as well as this lifetime.

- Astrology can help people find what type of work will light them up and to decondition from the mindset of working to survive.

- As you use the book with your chart, check in with yourself and ask if you’re aligned.

- Learning astrology and your own chart is an ongoing process and you can focus on one piece at a time

- Natalie recently had another spiritual awakening while taking an angel messenger course and has been working with angel energy in her life

- Angel messages are about the bigger picture and loving acceptance

February Spirit Messages

Hello Spirit School listeners! January was an intense month for me personally. I got sick leading up to the launch of The Initiation and had to push back my mastermind but at the same time, I was expanding my team by two members. 

I’ve been working with Spirit to understand my process of manifestation and the Initiation was an amazing experiment. I desired to have 44 people sign up for it and it did not seem like it was going to happen. I didn’t have the energy to do all of the typical marketing strategies so I leaned into trust and the 44th person signed up 10 minutes before the first live call! It was a really cool lesson for me. I’m choosing to highlight the things that went right even though so much went wrong and I hope you’re able to do the same.

The determination that I needed to harness to persevere is very aligned with the messages I received for our Spirit Messages this month!

My Personal Development Journey

Happy New Year! This episode is my first recording of 2022, even though the Spirit Messages episode came out on January 2. After crossing the milestone of my second year of podcasting on December 22, I am excited to continue creating episodes when I am inspired!

I received the inspiration to share my personal development story in December, but it didn’t feel aligned to release it until now. In this episode, I am sharing my own personal development journey as well as some tips that you can use for your own.

I am so excited to share this episode of my interview with my mediumship mentor Dominic Boag! I have been working with him for the past year as my mediumship changed after losing my cat Bender and experiencing grief for the first time. I love to watch Dominic demonstrate and enjoy his cadence as I am sure you will as well.

Dominic first began developing his mediumship in the Spiritualist Church after the loss of his father when he was fourteen years old and was working as a medium at sixteen. He describes his journey as being fairly natural and has allowed it to unfold with the guidance of Spirit.

In this episode, I am sharing my journey to confidence in my personal life and mediumship development journey - as they are inseparable. In my experience, finding confidence is an inside job. 

In addition to stage fright, I had many experiences that contributed to my lack of confidence and self-worth in childhood. I was told by a teacher that I would never become anything but a drug dealer when I was in grade four. I started smoking and spending time with people who were not moving in a positive direction. I was also bullied so severely that I switched high schools and ended up being home-schooled. 

Although school was not a positive environment for me, I have always thrived in my career. I was recruited from a daycare job by a man willing to mentor me in his business. He gave me opportunities to grow with the company, and that was my introduction to the motorsports industry, working with men and excelling in my roles. I transitioned into the Indigenous health and wellness space when I planned on having a baby to have a more aligned lifestyle. 

My introduction to the corporate world and female leadership was not a positive one. However, after witnessing an Indigenous woman in her power in a meeting, I asked how I could work for her, and she made it happen. Under her leadership, I was able to build my confidence because she gave me every opportunity to have projects with high visibility and leadership roles. Most of my mediumship mentors appeared to have her level of confidence but, at their core, really did not. I used the skills from my corporate career to work through the wounds and not-enoughness that came up in my mediumship development journey. 

Though it is helpful to have mentors and teachers, it is ultimately up to us to do the work to heal our wounds and step into our power. Through healing in my human experience, my confidence in mediumship has expanded from the inside out. What I have learned to embrace is that being confident is a choice.

Part 1: My Journey Through Stage Fright

In this episode, I am sharing my journey with stage fright. I never know when it is going to happen, but still, I show up. Spirit increases my capacity to hold space as my confidence builds, and my purpose is what keeps me going. I know that I am worthy of being heard, and I want you to know that you are too!

Some highlights of my journey through stage fright from the episode:

• I was six the first time I had stage fright and, at the last minute, could not perform in a daycare play we were performing for our parents. After that, I preferred to be behind the scenes!
