Earlier this week, I was talking to my bestie and fellow Disney enthusiast, getting pumped about my upcoming trip to Disneyland in Anaheim and I was saying that I wanted to get creative with some fun and unique ideas for content to create and share with you that went beyond posing with food.

She was like, “oh why don’t you talk about how so many people every year try to scatter ashes of their deceased loved ones inside the Disneyland theme parks?!”

“Wait, what?!?! Is that a thing??” 
I had never even thought of this in all the times I’d been there but I HAD to know and, as it turns out, this is absolutely true….and not at all legal. 

Still thought by some people to be just an “urban legend”, the scattering of cremated remains of loved ones continues to be a big problem at “The Happiest Place on Earth” 

So in this week's solo chat, I'm sharing everything I learned and you'll walk away with answers to....

How are they getting caught and what happens when they do??

Are you "over" New Year's Resolutions? They haven't worked for me in years, and I've tried it lots of ways! I'd be willing to bet you are feeling the same way. And let's be honest, most of us here are learning, growing and questioning all year long -not just for some cliche "resolution". But, certain times of year do feel reflective and like a time to think forward for ourselves.

All of these feelings and stirrings really came together for me while listening to an interview of Oprah Winfrey by Jamie Kern Lima for The Color Purple on the Super Soul Podcast (interview linked in show notes). The way she shares about one of her most valuable lessons and exactly how she applies it, plus some words of wisdom as only Oprah can, really ushered in a wave of inspiration and refreshing perspective for me.
I felt my heart open in a deeper way. So I'm sharing it all with you.

Does the idea of continuously thinking about being in balance or how far out of balance you are in different areas leave you feeling like a constant failure? 

One of the most requested topics to be let in on what area of personal development I have been working on and to share my thoughts or process. I’ve been exploring the topic of shifting from the idea of having “balance” to the idea of having “Ebb and Flow”.

Of course, this cycle is happening all year long and we are each on our own timeline.
