Two time Stanley Cup Champion Craig Ludwig jumps on the show with Gavin Spittle to discuss the Stars road trip. Craig gives his thoughts on the Pavelski, Hintz, Robertson slump, why they are giving up breakaway opportunities when they are on the power play as well as defensive assignments in their zone.

For the second straight day, the Stars fall and had to go up against another tough goalie and were unable to figure him out. Igor Shesterkin made 41 saves and shined in the Rangers win. Gavin talks about Ottawa being a tough matchup for the Stars and this game on Thursday will not be a gimme despite the Senators being in 15th place in the Eastern Conference. Logan Stankoven was called up, Gavin thinks we’ll see DeBoer juggle the lines and insert Stankoven into the lineup. 

Jake Oettinger and Jeremy Swayman put on an absolute clinic in a 9 round shootout that ends in a Stars loss. Host Gavin Spittle is joined by Robert Tiffin from D-Magazine. They talk about the injuries the Stars have and how Dallas played basic hockey in this game. Then the guys go through questions sent in by listeners. Robert points out to keep in mind it’s basically a tie when you get to overtime and take it to a shootout, even though it results in a loss, the goal is to gain as many points as possible and the Stars still got a point. 

Scott McLaughlin of Audacy's The Skate Preview joins host Gavin Spittle to preview Monday's marquee matinee of two of the top teams in the NHL, the Dallas Stars and the Boston Bruins. 

Dallas loses to Edmonton in overtime 4-3 and Jani Hakanpaa left the game with an injury. Gavin says he is happy to get a point against the Oilers even if it is a loss they still got a point. Gavin makes note of the great job by the penalty kill to overcome a 5 on 3 against the dangerous power play unit the Oilers have. It has been a tough stretch of opponents the Stars have faced and they have taken 5 out of the possible 6 points in those games.
