The NFL will move forward Saturday and Sunday with its planned schedule for the final week of the regular season, with no decision yet on whether the Bills-Bengals game postponed last Monday night will be made up. Bills safety Damar Hamlin remains hospitalized in Cincinnati after suffering cardiac arrest on the field in the first quarter of Monday’s game. The NFL is also considering how to account for a missing game in the Bills and Bengals records if the game is not made up.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts finish up losing seasons Sunday, the Bears hosting the Minnesota Vikings, the Colts at home against the Houston Texans. Both games kick off at 1pm, the Bears on Quality Rock Z 94.3, the Colts on 96.1 the Ton.
By contrast, the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers both have a lot to play for Sunday night in Green Bay. Each team must win to make the playoffs, and the Lions also need help in the form of a loss by the Seattle Seahawks. Sunday night’s winner could wind up in the 7th and final NFC playoff spot.
