  • Finding the Rest You’re Missing | The Follow Up | Hebrews 4:1–13

What does it look like to find rest when life is still hard?

Pastors Jack, Jeff, and Bill discuss Hebrews 4:1–13 in Week 5 of Spring Lake Church’s Greater Than series. They explore the difference between an easier schedule and the rest that comes from trusting what Jesus has already accomplished.

The conversation follows three points from the passage: the promise of rest is open today, our response matters, and God sees the truth of our response. Along the way, the pastors talk about trusting God under pressure, finding peace in difficult responsibilities, and letting God’s Word expose the places where we’re still struggling to trust him.

In the Deep Dive, they trace the theme of rest through creation, the wilderness generation, Psalm 95, and Joshua. They close with practical ways to bring prayer and trust into the moments that are causing unrest.

A question to carry into your week: What is one situation you’re struggling to trust God with—and what would it look like to invite him into it?

  • Whose House Are You In? | The Follow Up | Hebrews 3:1–19

What does a hardened heart look like—and how do we keep responding to Jesus?

Pastors Arlen Chastain, Jeff Lederer, and Adam Jackson continue our conversation through Hebrews with “Whose House Are You In?” They discuss the loving urgency behind the warnings in Hebrews 3, what it means to hear God's voice today, and why following Jesus includes encouraging one another.

In the Deep Dive, Jeff explores the Bible's language about hardened hearts, including Pharaoh in Exodus, sin's deceitfulness, and the opportunity to respond when we recognize conviction. The conversation closes with what it means to keep clinging to Jesus in everyday life.

A question to consider: Who is walking alongside you and helping you respond to Jesus?

“Whose House Are You In?” explores Hebrews 3:1–19 and the call to keep our
focus on Jesus. We are challenged to fix our thoughts on Jesus, listen to His

hearts. As members of God’s house, we are also called to encourage one another
and hold firmly to our hope in Christ.
